Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomAbsolutely nothing if I am honest, but I joke with Reiner that it could only be improved with the addition of a swimming pool (in their future plans) and a few pet goats!
We love this place! It's our second time after first staying in 2022. The roads are amazing for motorcycling, quiet and twisty - just how we like them. It was 40 degrees on our last visit so we didn't get to see the local sights but this time we visited the ancient bridge, stunning basilica & the Buddhist temple. The accommodation is great, really lovely, excellent aircon, very comfortable bed, brilliant hospitality from Reiner and stunning food from Angel that's better than any restaurant I've eaten in.

United KingdomAn absolute delight and superb value! There really is too much for my wife and I to inform on the detail of what was so wonderful about our three-night stay. What follows, however, are some important highlights. Reiner was such an accommodating and attentive host. He provided us with incredible insights into, and hand-drawn maps of, the routes and wonderful sites to visit in Ribagorza - and there are many; the oldest cathedral in Spain, for example. The hotel is ideally located near to Graus for just such touring. Our bedroom was very comfortable and well-appointed with tea/coffee-making facilities. Now...the food! Where to begin? The breakfasts were plentiful, of great quality and varied. The evening meals were of a five-star gourmet standard, every night. All were lovingly prepared by Angel - he is an extraordinarily skilful chef and so creative with his ingredients! And the ingredients all were of the highest quality. Imagine a wondrously delicious chocolate basket filled with cherries, not so. It was filled with pumpkin, and the resulting taste was..... stunning! Both Reiner and Angel are passionate providers and users of seasonal locally-sourced and organic foodstuffs, and the beers and wines also are of the highest available quality. In conclusion, we cannot recommend highly enough the facilities and resources provided - and - the bonus of no children, well, hoorah for that! We shall be back for sure!! Thank you both, Reiner and Angel! From Patsy and Pete.

United StatesWe preferred to eat dinner in restaurants in the area. Also the hotel was further from places in the Pyrenees that we wanted to visit on day trips.
We got great guidance on places to go and routes to take by car. We visited superb sites that we would never have known about without the owners help.

United KingdomNothing to not like.
The food at Bodegas de Arnés is truly exceptional, each dish expertly prepared and perfectly presented by Angel, the chef, using fresh and local ingredients. Both Angel and Reiner, who run the hotel, were so friendly and welcoming and made our stay feel like staying with friends. They gave us a lot of advice and information about places to visit in the area. The room was designed in an original way, with a Moroccan theme. We had three balconies, each with a mosquito screen. There is outdoor seating in the garden with great views. Ample parking. It was very quiet and peaceful at night. Altogether a very enjoyable stay!

United KingdomWe couldn’t stay longer.
A real hidden gem and a wonderful retreat. This former Bodegas has been lovingly restored by the current owners, Reiner & Arncle who are the perfect boasts and clearly passionate about their business and home. They have future plans to create a swimming pool in the grounds and outdoor restaurant. The hotel is tucked away up a rural lane but only a short distance from the town and enjoys a commanding position overlooking the valley. There are only four letting rooms and ours, Calla was a comfortable and spacious room that has been beautiful furnished with individual flair, views over the countryside and a sumptuous shower room. This is the perfect hotel for the gastronomic, as the food is lovingly prepared by Arncle, who is an exceptional chef and a master of his craft. The dishes use local organic produce some from the family farm. Our dinner was absolutely delicious and by far one of the best meals we have ever enjoyed, even compared to the many Michelin star restaurants we have eaten at. The wine cellar compliments the food and Reiner is happy to recommend the perfect pairing. Breakfast was of a similar high standard with an excellent selection that will certainly set you up for the day. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we felt privileged to share your beautiful home.

IrelandNothing really.
It was a beautiful house and the hosts were superb. If there had been a pool we would have stayed longer but it was so hot, once you left the house, the garden and seating outside were just too uncomfortable. We would however stay for another night or two in the future.

Great location for good motorbiking roads, hosts Reiner and Angel were super friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to cater to our every need. Reiner speaks excellent English as well as German and French (plus a few more!). Beautiful building, stunning unusual room with excellent aircon given we had 40 degree heatwave, super comfortable bed, plenty of room and a fridge too. We booked half board and the food was amazing - worth Michelin stars!
