Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

GermanyWe didn't like that when cleaning the rooms the towels didn't get changed once in our 4 night stay. The room was set up as if for 1 person was staying not 2. (1 of 2 bathrobes hanging in the bathroom and the other hidden in the closet), and only one pair of slippers in the room. Also very few options to hang the towels in the bathroom. Considering a €200 a night booking, this was a minimum that is expected.
Great location with a lot to do around. Nice design elements.

FranceThe rooms are a bit old, dark and small (we were all on the 1st floor), with the cheaper rooms (overall a bit expensive) so views into the patios: not that pleasant. I think it's a bit too expensive (20-30%) for what they were (including breakfast), but overall the staff over compensates for this. Only real drawback : the free wifi is extremely slow and not usable in the rooms; there is a paid version that I did not try.
I'll start with the delightful staff. Thank you, Yasmin, for making our stay very pleasant. I booked three rooms (one for my mother, one for my partner and me and our dog, one for my two adult children). The common areas are very nice and modern with an electro twist. Service for our dog was very good, and all the staff was very helpful. Great breakfast offering. Superb location near the metro. We stayed for 4 nights. I would recommend this hotel again.

United KingdomThe hotel is siituated within easy reach of central Madrid and has good bus and metro connections adjacent. On arrival we received a warm welcome and were shown to our room. The room and en-suite were spottlessly clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast room was very well laid out with an extensive range of fresh food and drinks, including some hot dishes and it has a lovely relaxing atmoshphere. All staff at the hotel were friendly and helful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

United StatesAir conditioning was off and English entertainment on the TV was non-existent, and the one-way streets made Uber pic-up difficult.
The hotel was clean and modern and the front desk staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The hotel is located in the Chamberi area of Madrid, one of the best shopping areas in the city with excellent restaurants and nightlife. Very safe and excellent access to public transportation.
