Unfortunately there was some street noise at night but I think this is to be expected staying centrally in Madrid.

The location was fantastic. The staff were great to deal with and very helpful. The apartment was exactly as per the photos and it was extremely clean.

A bit noisy at the weekend

This is the first time we have rented an apartment in Spain so clearly we're not experts! The location is great for exploring Madrid and there's no shortage of places to eat close by. The apartments are mostly on the 1st floor, accessible by lift only, with a couple more on the ground floor. Our apartment was spacious and well equipped - maybe need one or two extras in the kitchen if you're Gordon Ramsey. The staff are fantastic, responding to queries straight away, if fact we had something that needed fixing urgently and they sorted it keeping us updated on progress. The only negative (for us, but maybe not everyone) is that our apartment overlooked Cava Baja. At the weekend this street is lively!!! If you like quiet then maybe ask for one overlooking C. de Grafal on the other side of the building where the main entrance is. Would we go back? Definitely!

The toilet was tucked behind the bathroom door which had taken us a while to get used to. We were given 2 cards, one for the door and one for the lights. Both of these were white colour and looked the same. This had caused a bit of confusion as we had once taken the wrong card and locked ourselves out of the room. We would suggest some mark or sticker be placed on either the door card or the light card to help the guest identify the specific card.

The location was very convenient. It was within 15 minutes walk from most places that we had wanted to go; examples of these are the Mercado de San Miguel, Plaza Mayor, La Latina and Restaurante Botin. Even walking to the Royal Palace was around half an hour. There were also a lot of eateries around the property, for all meals in the day. A Flamingo Dance theatre was just around the corner. There was also a fairly large supermarket within 2 minutes' walk. We appreciate the ironing board and iron, and, the laundry facilities. We liked the convenience of the coffee maker, the microwave, the electric kettle and the range of cups and glasses. We also appreciate that Maria had maintain contact with us to ensure our arrival and check-in was smooth as well as during our stay to ensure everything was fine. She also helped us to book a taxi to the airport. Excellent service.

Location, location, location! The apartment was great as well. There were days we just wanted to sleep in. That's how nice the apartment was. Maria was a big help as well , we received tips on where to go and where to eat. She even helped us get a taxi for the airport on our last day.

The apartment I booked was right on the corner of the building and next to a busy street. It was very noisy all day and all night. The location was perfect as it was very central so it depends what you would want from your trip. I would book again.

The apartment was amazing, just like the phots. Maria was so so friendly and she helped us and replied quickly to any questions. She sent a list with places to visit and eat. The apartment is very close to everything we wanted to visit. There are several shops near the flat and a lot of good restaurants.

It was noisy. You have to use earplugs to get any sleep, but they were provided, so no need to bring your own. Their washing machines are in a common area on the floor, so you can't really use it without being there when it is ready to be picked up.

It is a modern apartment in an excellent location. It's clean, comfortable and well equipped. The host was very responsive and provided great information on recommended activities, and how to check-in and check-out

There was a degree of difficulty in securing use of the washing machine.

The overall space in room106 was really good,much larger than most rentals.

Quite a bit of noise from the street particularly from the bottle bank outside our windows.

Great location close to La Latina metro with lots of great restaurants close by. Very spacious accommodation with great facilities. Maria our host was incredibly helpful and answered our questions very quickly. She arranged a taxi for us and supplied us with extra coffee pods as soon as we asked. She looked after our luggage for us when we checked out so that we could go and have lunch before going to the airport.

We were a little anxious about being locked out when our key cards started to malfunction.

Excellent location and well equipped. María made us feel very welcome, organised a taxi for our departure and made herself available to resolve the problem with our keys cards.

The building is in an excellent location. I walked everywhere and there are excellent taverna’s and restaurants and bars and grocery stores surrounding the area. Very close to Plaza Mayor and literally a 10 min walk to Gran Via. It only took me 20 minutes to walk to Prado Museum. The building is safe and super clean! Maria, the manager is awesome! She speaks beautiful English and is always willing to help with inquiries.

The apartment I stayed in was quite large. A fantastic open living area equipped with essentials such as a couch, table and chairs, TV, kettle, coffee machine, pots,pans,plates,cutlery,glassware,fridge,microwave,oven,cooktop…. I mean it was like I was in my own home! Fabulous bedroom with super comfortable king size bed and a clean and good sized separate bathroom.

The area around the building can be loud on Friday and Saturday nights until about 2:30am. If you aren’t a light sleeper, then no worries. The large garbage bins were close enough to our window that the filling and emptying of the glass bin was very loud at times.

Good location. A surprisingly comfortable bed. Hostess was helpful at check in. Room and building smelled fresh. Grocery store right around the corner. Easy short walk to metro.
