The steps were hard work, even though we have no mobility issues. Bathroom could do with updating.

The pool water was not cleaned the whole time we were there for the 5 day trip, there was often floating things in the pool when swimming around eg bugs, leaves, bird poo. The life guards sat on their phones for 90% of the day in the corner of the higher pool, and did not observe what was going on. There was an incident during our stay with someone dislocating a shoulder in the pool, and the lifeguard did not help, just informed him to go to a medical centre (he was very young and didn’t seem to help at all). The reception staff (night staff) are extremely rude and intimidating for a young group of girls to be around. Initial thoughts were just that they were having a bad day, however on multiple occasions we were accused of being abusive and rude to the staff which certainly wasn’t the case. We were lied about to management, and upon checkout was threatened to be left with no place to leave our luggage or have a shower in the communal space. This was all because we were ‘too loud’ in our room, and we had multiple knocks on the door with the staff whispering ‘open the door girls’ in our room at 2am. The initial door answer was us apologising for being loud, and if this was the case we wasn’t aware, to which we were then almost harassed a further time when we were then in bed due to ‘noise complaints’ that were unfolded later on the following day. The rooms were nice and spacious, however during the 5 days we were there they were not cleaned once, beds were not changed. The floor was covered in dust and sand when we arrived, and this stayed the same during our time here. The toilet/ bathroom had an awful sewage smell in the room, which was particularly stronger after using the water. This is most definitely not a party destination hotel, which we were not aware of when booking, however this is not what we were looking for hence staying in Santa ponsa and not magaluf.

The environment of the pool was very calm and relaxed, the pool bar staff were extremely helpful and kind and couldn’t do enough for you whenever you ordered. Pool side was clean, and no empty cups/ plates were ever left out around the pool for any longer than 5 minutes. There were 2 pools, so plenty of choice to pick a sunbed, and never left without somewhere to relax and sunbathe. Spacious rooms, and very big balcony’s, great views if you get a pool side room, as this also overlooks the sea if you are high enough.

It is really difficult to park near the apartments. But there is parking within the complex at 10 euro a day with a 10 euro refundable deposit.

The location is on the hill with beautiful views over the bay of Santa Ponsa. The reception staff are very helpful, especially Monica who we had several dealings with. The room was bright, airy and large. perfect for a longer stay. The pool and bar area were very well presented and clean and tidy.

The only thing I didn’t like which isn’t the hotels fault was the steps leading up to the resort.

This is not a criticism but purely information I'd like to have known beforehand :) The stairs. To get from the main part of town to the apartments there's a monster set of stairs. If you have luggage or a pram, flag a taxi. If you're fine walking, just remember the amazing view from your balcony to power through the burn!

The view from the balcony was amazing. There was a kitchen with a stove, small countertop oven and kettle (great for having breakfast). There's nothing in the kitchen itself (e.g tea, coffee, oil) so pick some up en route with your groceries. It has all necessary crockery and cutlery. It felt like having our own little home. The sofa bed was super comfy when we put the mattress from the pull out section on the sofa. We love Santa Ponsa too so we had a brilliant time.

The kitchen was equipped with very limited facilities. A large building is being built 200-300 meters away from Vista Club. The construction is quite tedious and it looks like it will take a long time.

We stayed in a standard one-bedroom apartment. In general. The apartment was spacious and equipped with all the basic facilities. It should be noted that the Vista Club building is located on a hillside and access to the city center requires climbing very high stairs (something similar to going up to the 10th floor of a building).

Parking cost at 10 euro a night but that's partly down to only like 12 places - no luggage trolley to move from parking to apartment - large kitchen which is good but could do with say oven and dishwasher as there was space for that. Paying tourist tax for all guests from day one even though they didn't arrive until days later.

location is 50 meters above the sea level , to reach any supermarket or restaurant you have to climb very long stairs .

The location of the hotel is up a lot of stairs (157 to be exact!) and this made it very difficult to nip to shop, or beach or out for a drink. Getting back to the hotel was a major task and in the extreme heat, carrying shopping - we found this difficult and we are fairly fit!

Our apartment was large and adequate for our needs. The kitchen was good and we loved the freezer for ice! The air conditioning was very good and included in the price. The safe was good value and was located in the room. Hotel was quiet and the pool area is very chilled.

A lovely place to stay. Unfortunately I had damaged my leg the week before we arrived and limited me to get to local restaurants because of the steps. But wow, the staff so friendly especially the lady manager , and all the crew at the snack bar.

Large groups of young adults did change the vibe around the pool in the afternoon but they were all well behaved just a bit loud. Santa ponsa is a bit British / Irish for us.

The description of hotel did not mention it was so high up and so many steps to the town centre and beach area .that said taxi was cheap so walk down taxi back mostly. The only thing about the hotel was the pool opened at 10am and closed at 6pm with the weather so hot until 9pm it would be better if had at least another hours opening but nice pool and clean surrounding area
