This spacious, well-equipped, updated apartment is set in an incredibly picturesque village. It has it's own large, private garden complete with a wide array of lawn furniture. Flowers are everywhere and the mountain views are spectacular! There is a generous car park just across from the apartments. The owner met us when we arrived. He was friendly and helpful.

There was no message about check-in or parking, just the hours you could check in, so we assumed someone would be there. This wasn't the case, so I called the owner. Unfortunately he only speaks Spanish, so that was a tough one. Within a few minutes he sent a WhatsApp message though with instructions in Spanish. Thankfully those were easy enough to read to gain access to the parking space and the apartment.

The apartment was simply perfect. It had everything we needed, it was spacious and modern, the shower was a dream and the location breathtaking. It is located near 15 minutes from Potes and a great place to travel to Fuenta De for hiking. The tiny town is so pretty and it even has some options for a simple meal or a drink. We will definitely book it again if we're in the area again.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The apartments are situated in the best location in Mogrovejo, with views of the tower and the mountains above it. The apartments have everything you might need for a comfortable stay. We cooked in for almost all our meals and we had everything we expected to have. The beds are comfortable and they have great windows for allowing air flow during the day, and blackout wooden shutters to sleep in total darkness in the evening (when the sun is still up in the summer of Spain). The best part of the apartments is the garden area, which has 360 degree views of all the mountains surrounding you. There are picnic tables for eating (which we took advantage of twice a day) and a few lounge chairs for reading books and staring up at the peaks. The grass feels wonderful under your feet and the flowers around the garden are a stunning and colorful explosion of species and beauty. They've done such a good job creating a little natural sanctuary of green space to hang out in that is very inviting. At first, we were wondering if we would miss out on staying in Potes and all the conveniences within walking distance in a town. However, after just a few days here, we realized that staying up in the mountains of Mogrovejo is way better for us (and families with kids who need space to play outside). Every morning, as soon as we would wake up, we'd run to the window to see what the mountains looked like. You have breakfast and dinner in the garden with million dollar views. It's overwhelmingly beautiful for the senses: birds chirping, warm sun shining down, fresh mountain air and some of the most beautiful mountains in the world right in front of you. Jose is a wonderful host and they have done an amazing job creating such a cool place to stay up in the mountains. Everyone we met who was also staying here was awesome: very friendly, outdoorsy and chill. We will definitely be back.

We could have done with some barbecue implements

This apartment (no 5) was located in a beautiful setting in a delightful mountainous village. It had a lovely garden where you could chill out and eat out and there was a great barbeque for everyone's use. Inside the apartment it was clean and comfortable with good facilities. We brought bikes with us which we were able to store in the adjacent barn. There was plenty of parking in the private parking area opposite. Although this was only a small village there were 3 bars which were extremely cheap and pleasant.

The room/apartment was okay - comfortable and clean, but little light/few windows. This is no problem when the weather allows to use the beautiful terraces, but during rain/wind its not the coziest living room to pass time in.

The location is absolutely gorgeous and special, we couldn't find something as peaceful and beautiful as this again elsewhere in the Picos. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Only minor irritation was that the kitchen could have been better equipped, with a few more pots and pans and basic kitchen utensils and items, but this seems to be a common theme in rental properties.

The place had everything you need for proper living, except for a cutting board, which is a shame because cutting things on plates and countertops can ruin them over time. The double bed room had a peculiar smell, but it wasn't too severe to prevent us from enjoying the place, which we did. The automatic lamp post at the terrace made it harder to enjoy the night sky and falling starts, if you can call that a con.

The host met us, gave us a tour of the apartment and left a bunch of very helpful tips. The place itself was spotlessly clean and had pretty much everything you'd expect. The location is definitely 15 out of 10 and the pictures don't do justice to how beautiful the views are, especially for early risers. Convenient parking and a lovely outside terrace with the same stupendous views were a welcomed addition. Even the toiled had mountain views. I mean, come on! The bed was by far the best one I've experienced in a rental apartment or a hotel room.

When companies use Booking.com they must expect foreign visitors who don't speak Spanish. On arrival we rang the owners but didn't understand what they were saying. No one came. After 40 min a guest in another apartment who spoke Spanish arrived and kindly rang the owners on our behalf. We then got the keys. The owner then arrived and apologised profusely. Recieved a email with the keycode 5 min later.

Location perfect. Apartment 4 is the best one in the block. Fabulous views. Facilities in the apartment were excellent.

Our family also had a second apartment on the ground floor. The ground floor apartment was less good as it was a little smaller and less well ventilated (we couldn't open some windows during our stay due to a wasp nest outside which the owners have tried to fix). But don't be put off by this minor comment - the apartments are still a really good choice for a base to relax and explore the area.

Serene location with beautiful views of the mountains. Our upper level apartment was spacious and well kitted out for cooking and dining as a family. Location was excellent for accessing walks. Just 10 minutes drive from Potes without the crowds. Easy private parking.

This is probably the best self catering apartment I have ever stayed in. The location was perfect with fantastic views of the mountains from the big windows. The facilities were very good, easy parking and the beautiful garden was an added bonus. We stayed in Apartment 4.

The lighting in the flat was a mismatch of very warm and nice lamps and very brash cold lamps which were not easy on the eyes. The garden at night is illuminated with very prison-yard like floodlights, so we couldn't see the stars when chilling there during the evening:(

Amazing view on the mountains from the common garden. The village is lovely and quiet. The apartment is spacious. Our door gave almost directly to the nice big common garden which was perfect to chill, read, have a meal and enjoy the scenery.
