"It seemed like the soundproofing was not done properly, as we could hear the sound of a toilet flushing from a different room in the evening. Also, the knife was too dull, making it difficult to cut fruits."

The location was very good and the staff was friendly. The room had a separated bedroom and a living room, which included a big fridge, washing machine, and kitchen utensils such as plates, cups, knives, forks, and spoons, making it convenient. While taking a shower, I tried to adjust the water flow by turning the showerhead, but it broke. I informed the staff about it the next morning, and they quickly fixed it, which was nice.

Noise from other apartments could be heard but it didnt interfere with us too much as we were there just for sleeping. There was loud drilling on the day of departure which have been annoying if we were sleeping in.

The location was good and very secure. The apartment was clean and the bed was comfortable. The facilities were as described. The host was responsive by whatsapp and the lady who met us with key was very welcoming despite our delay arriving because of a taxi issue.

Apartment was not super sound proof--could hear music from downstairs shops and neighbors talking through walls of the bathroom. Living area was also small and windowless.

The apartment was really comfortable and clean, the host is very kind and helpful, we were able to arrive earlier. The location is perfect, we could walk everywhere from there. The balcony is really nice, you can enjoy the sunlight and the see view as well. We had a great time and absolutely would recommend the apartment!

Unfortunately, it is hard to get a good night’s rest in this apartment. Being on a first floor of a busy street, you can hear people partying until very late (3/4am both on Saturday and Sunday). The apartment is badly insolated so we heard the neighbours talking until late and heard their phone alarm at 6am. Apart from that, a small suggestion is to provide a few more coffee capsules - my partner and I stayed two nights and it would have been nice to have 4 instead of just 2 capsules.

The apartment is located in a very central district of Madrid. It is clean and well maintained. The apartment is also of a nice size and well equipped. We enjoyed our breakfast in the small terrace overlooking the street. The host was also very nice to us and brought us a capsule to be able to use the washing machine in the flat.

The apartment was very clean, modern and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with a fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave, kettle, hob, pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. The bedroom was a good size and the bed was comfy. The cost was very reasonable. Susana the owner made contact with me the day before my arrival which was nice and she met me at the apartment on my arrival to show me around. She was also available on what's app if I needed anything. The apartment was within walking distance of the city centre and was very secure, you had to go through 3 locked doors to get into the apartment, so I felt very safe staying there alone. I would highly recommend the accommodation and I would definitely book it again if I was travelling to Madrid.

An extra mirror in the apartment would be nice. No fault of our host but we could hear conversations from the apartment next door.

Location was excellent. Host communicated well and gave good suggestions for restaurants. The beds were comfortable with nice linens. No street noise.

Being located right in the busy tourist pedestrian area did mean some late night noises, particularly with the neighbour apartment. But we adjusted to Spanish time quickly (eating and socialising to at least midnight) and the noise wasnt a concern as it quitened down when we did. Only one set of keys provided. No toaster in the kitchen. These were all minor and shouldnt stop other travellers from booking this apartment.

Susana, the host/manager commuicated via WhatsApp a few days before our stay to confirm expected arrival time. She was waiting for us at the front door to show us the apartment and keys. Susana has limited English and I have limited Spanish, but we were able to get all the necessary info (apartment features, keys & internet) easily. The use of google translate helped. Susana was very friendly and helpful. The washing machine and drying rack were wonderful. Location was right on a busy pedestrian walkway so plenty of food and shopping right outside. All major tourist attractions were within walking distance. Numerous underground stations around too. Delightful little enclosed balcony for breakfast. Full size fridge. Located on the first floor, but there is a lift for heavy suitcases. Two large queen size beds (both in the same bedroom) were comfortable. Supermarket just a few hundred meters up the road for supplies. Air condintioning.

Before my arrival, property management contacted me via WhatsUp app, which was pretty easy and friendly. (I would recommend installing WhatsUp in advance). As soon arrived at the property, I was met by a representative, who showed the apartment and gave the keys. The apartment and its location was just excellent. The apartment itself is shiny clean, both the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. The kitchen had the microwave, coffeemaker, electric kettle, laundry machine, large fridge, glass cooking surface, and all necessary utensils as - knives, forks, spoons etc. This property is situated in short walking distance to subway/metro and taxi access, which is on the large street "calle Grand Via", with tons of shopping centers. Also, there are 3-4 grocery stores can be found nearby, as well several coffeehouses (including Starbucks) and snackbars.

No issues, perfect stay.

The host was really nice and friendly and let us into the room early. She speaks only Spanish but was very accommodating, using translating apps to talk with us in English on whatsapp. The room was extremely clean and tidy and had a good bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the bedroom has air conditioning in it which kept us cool. The building was quiet and well maintained and the location was excellent, super central and easy to move around from.
