Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IrelandWe had a two bed, two bath apartment. We had lots of room. The apartment was beautifully decorated. We loved having a terrace of our own and a swimming pool and outside area with beds on the top floor. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Cleaning available on request during the visit. The apartment is close to Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias. The 19 bus runs outside and there is easy access to the city and the beach by bus.

United KingdomLocation is a bit off-centre for pure tourist purposes, and the design – not a single picture in the whole place! – is rather bland/corporate to make you feel entirely at home. Pool and gym rather small to be much real use.
Spacious and carefully fitted out apartments (conceived by a hotel company), in a smart location. Everything works. On a main avenue, but reasonably quiet.

United KingdomFantastically clean with super friendly staff. Great to have the rooftop pool as well. Also great for the whole family to be able to stay in one apartment rather than 2 separate hotel rooms. Well stocked supermarket less than 5 mins down the road too!

United KingdomIt did not spoil our stay, but the pool was not heated, it was far too cold for me and my husband but especially my young child.
The staff were very helpful and friendly, their English was also very good. The location was great, you can walk to the aquarium and science centre and the bus stop directly outside went to both the old town and the port. The rooms were a good size and very quiet and fitted to a high standard.

Belgium- No clothes space at the room entrance, not even a coat hanger. Both bedrooms had (doorless) wardrobes but only good for hanging some shirts. - A/C is a bit tricky to use. Turns itself off when opening windows but doesn't automatically turn back on. - Valencia is not a small city, so the advertised "walking distance" might be quite a distance in reality. For example, it takes around 45min to walk to the city centre (or to the beach), so rather plan using the public transport or a car.
We were positively surprised by the size of the apartment: living room / kitchen + two bedrooms with their own fully-equipped bathrooms. Perfect for 2+2 family with teenagers. The room was quiet, we had a back view with no car traffic. The whole building looks like freshly renovated, with a no-frills pleasant design. There are quite a few restaurants / cafes around and a shopping mall nearby. A few bus lines serve the area, one stops almost in front of the hotel. The cycling infrastructure is also very well developed.

United KingdomWe really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again. Valencia is now my favorite city in Spain!
This accommodation is in a building within easy reach of the City of Arts and a short taxi ride from the Valencia Airport. We stayed in a modern two bedroom flat, each bedroom with on suite bathroom. A good size living room/kitchen area with large fridge and dishwasher. There were cooking facilities in the flat and a Nespresso coffee machine. There were TVs in the main bedroom and in the living room with casting options for streaming Netflix, etc. There is also a small swimming pool and a gym on the top floor. Our flat had a small balcony with a nice view to a plaza (square) at the back and a table and chairs for eating/drinking al fresco. We spent most of the time out, walking and enjoying the sights. There are restaurants and cafes close by and a small Carrefour within 5 minutes walk. We really enjoyed our breakfast at the Dulce de Leche cafe in the mornings! The flats are cleaned every day and there were always staff in the reception area on the ground floor.

Saudi ArabiaThe rooms are small. The bed is really small and not comfortable. They have only 1 spongy pillow, and it was not that good.
The location is amazing. It is walking distance from the City of Art and Science Museum. The hotel is near a big park and 2 malls. In front of the hotel there is a bus stop which can take you to further places.

IrelandThe space in the apartment, the decor, and the terrace. Very comfortable beds. The coffee machine. The rooftop space, the gym. Plenty of good restaurants nearby. The arts and sciences area was spectacular, and would recommend visiting the aquarium. We also walked to the old town (40 minutes) and beach (Playa de las Arenas - 40 minutes) so equidistant - a great location for seeing everything. Very efficient and friendly receptionists, great communication before/after stay also. We also knew what to expect from previous reviews in terms of extra bed etc.

RomaniaThe apartment seemed super clean at first glance, but after walking around in white socks they turned grey. Behind the couch there was a lot of dust. They advertise sound insulation of the building, but you could very well hear the traffic on the street with closed windows. Luckily there is not a lot of traffic in the morning, only after 8 or 9. Only one tablet for the dishwasher a day, and only if the maid cleans the room. If you choose to skip a day of cleaning you do not get a tablet. For people who do not cook, that is not a problem. But for us (family of 4 with 2 kids) it was a little bit strange. At this price point this should not be an issue. A little bit one the expensive side - we were there at the end of March (about 300 Euros a night) and the beginning of April (400 Euros a night).
Very friendly staff with 24h reception - always smiling and helpful, we asked for a baby chair and they delivered it promptly. Super location if you want to visit the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias - you are in walking distance (only 5 minutes on foot). There are a lot of stores and restaurants all around. Across the street you can rent bikes. You have a choice of 3 big shopping malls - easily reachable on foot (10 - 15 minutes). The apartments are very nice and spacious, modern, the kitchen was well equipped, full sized fridge, 2 big bathrooms - we were on the 5th floor with a big panoramic window facing the street. The beds were comfortable. Clean apartment Underground parking - it costs 15 Euros a day, but in a big city it is a must. You can also park on the street, if you can find a parking spot, but I would not recommend it. They offer a laundry room with washer and dryer on the 1st floor pf the building, but you have to pay 4 Euros for washing and 3 Euros for drying. There is only one washer and one dryer for about 40 apartment units. I think they should offer a better solution.

United KingdomCouldn’t fault a thing.
Fabulous receptionist who gave us every detail we needed. Apartment was spotless, roomy and very well equipped. Beds comfy. Showers and bathroom spacious and very modern. Great location. It was ideal for our weekend stay, perfectly placed near the modern sector and within easy reach of the old town and beach. There’s a bike hire across the road and the bike lanes are on every road, through the dry river and safe. Plenty of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance, there’s something for every taste.
