One of the best apartments I have ever stayed in:) Comfortable, fully equipped, quiet and cosy. Although there was a really late check in at 23:30 pm, hospitable Maria met us personally, explained all necessary details and gave us useful tips for staying in Madrid. Amazing experience:)

Impeccable. Location was perfect, you can get anywhere by foot, supermarket was close, as well as metro. No noise from the outside. Very clean, no problems with appliances or anything really. The host, Maria, was very friendly and gave us a tour of the apartment explaining every single detail that we need to know. She also gave us information and advice about Madrid as a city.

A beautiful, clean, comfortable apartment in a great neighbourhood of Madrid. Amazing variety of options to eat out or have a drink, and conveniently close to metro stations. Surprisingly quiet despite being a busy neighbourhood. Maria our host was charming, and couldn't do enough for us! . She provided us with recommendations for eating out, places to visit, and knowledge that can only come from a local. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in wonderful Madrid!

Only two minor items: desk/table space was small, and when fellow guests entered or left their neighboring apartment, it sounded like someone was entering our apartment. Again, these were minor issues since we spent most of our time walking around Madrid, away from the apartment.

Location was perfect, quiet street but close to everything. Apartment was very clean and modern. Maria, the Host, was very attentive and helpful.

The apartment is located about 15 mins walk from the main street which was very convenient. very clean and quiet, Its ,basically a big apartment that was divided into three. for that reason there was a window only in the bedroom. Bottom line, its a very nice apartment in the center of Madrid ..

I read the reviews here before selecting where to stay and all the positive reviews i saw are true and i'm glad i chose this room as Maria is an excellent hostess, willing to assit you for everything you might need (thank you Maria!!!), you will find more equipment than you will need in the room which is very clean, quiet (no road noises) with confort beds and pillows. Located in the in a central place in Madrid (we have visited all sites walking, if you prefer walking) and is very close to metro station and even to train station (we had a day trip to Toledo) and very very close to restaurants, shopping stores etc.

instructions of how to use the safety box is confusing, not sure if the safety box is working (but I did not ask the host about it though).

Maria welcomed us in person and gave us lots of great recommendations for restaurants and attractions in Madrid. Not only was this information useful, but it also made us feel very welcomed. We needed to go through three doors (building front door, entry door to the 3 apartments managed by the owner , and the apartment door) to enter the apartment, which made me feel very safe. The apartment was very clean and well-maintained. Although not large, the space was utilized very well, making it very comfortable to stay in. ; and the shower and shower space are great! Everywhere you look, you can see the care and effort the host has put into the place.

The quiet, the cleanliness and all the information provided by the host. Excellent bright bedroom, lovely bathroom with amazing shower. All the utilities /utensils provided in the kitchen and nice touches such as usb charging ports on both sides on the main bed.

The apartment is very comfortable and clean with many thoughtful accommodations like detergent for laundry, soap and a rack for dishes, and even after-shower slippers. The location is amazing; it's very quiet but also very close to metro stations, museums, and restaurants. Maria, the host, is better than any concierge we have ever had anywhere. She let us check in early and met us and explained everything about the city to us, including elements of the history and culture that a non-local would not know. She has the best recommendations if you want to try traditional cuisine or go to see the gorgeous sunsets. We'll always stay here when we visit Madrid.

Nothing, all was as expected and of a good standard.

The location was really good, just off the tourist area. Close to museums. The new lift in the building was very smooth. Nice to have the extra space of an apartment. Location and building quiet. Maria was a fantastic host, gave heaps of info about what to do, and booked the early morning taxi to the airport for us. There are local ethnic shops and restaurants down the hill from Alma suits. We dined there on 2 nights at the Italian restaurant, with bonus live music on Sunday night.

The apartment exceeded all my expectations. It was very clean and very quiet and very well appointed in an excellent location close to all of Madrid's central districts. The host, Maria, was very helpful throughout my stay. Highly recommend this to any solo traveller or couple looking for an exceptional venue from which to experience all that Madrid has to offer.

Our stay at Alma Suites was very pleasant. Located close to the city center, it has everything that you need for short or even longer stays. However, the star of this experience was Maria, our host. She kindly answered all of our questions and gave us some tips and tricks that we couldn't find anywhere else. We recommend this accomodation wholeheartedly.

Everything was perfect. Maria went above and beyond in hosting and was super flexible when I wanted to extend the stay for a few hours. Would definitely recommend this for any travellers to Madrid! Centrally located too!

Everything was perfect. Starting with Alessandro and Maria, who run it. They helped us with everything we needed. In a place where very few people speak english, it's very important. They gave us guidance for places of interest and a city plan. We asked for 2 extra pillows, they gave us 4! They even helped us to get tickets to Toledo. The apartment was like new and very spacious, which is very rare in Madrid. Very clean, with a second bath in the bedroom! Fully equipped kitchen, all appliances were like new, modern and not the usual cheap ones. The location is very convenient, on a few minutes wallking distance from Plaza del Sol and Mayor, La Latina area, 3 Metro station, Prado, El Retiro park. My next time in Madrid, I won't have to search where to stay, I'll book directly to Alma.
