Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United Kingdomi only have 1 small thought on what might have been an improvement, simply just a chair to sit on in reception while waiting for friends etc .... and thats all i can think of ...thats not bad at all ! !
I could not have been happier when i saw the location and the little street was so pretty, it has the old original charm of Spain, the staff we're very friendly and helpful, the room was spotless and was made up every day.....And the added bonus of being so close to Marbella Old Town with a pleasant stroll to the Orange Square for a scenic breakfast. I was only in Marbella for 4 nights to attend a wedding and just needed a base but The El Caprichito and the location means i have to go back ... Oops i nearly forgot ...The beach is just at the end of the street across the road

United KingdomIn the blurb it could be mentioned that it is in a carless alley, (which is beautiful) so our taxi struggled to find how to drop us off. We also had a lot of big cases, but the taxi driver spoke to the hostel and they came and helped us. So not really a not a dislike, but worth a mention on the info.
We had a private terrace on our room, but also on the other side a communal terrace with good views of the Cathedral and sunset. Very clean room, daily cleaner, coffee machine supplied. This accommodation is at the beginning of the old town, but also less than 5 mins walk from the beach. Great location. The alley it is in is bursting with greenery and plants. Very pretty.

A lovely gem in the heart of Marbella and an extremely well kept property. The place emanates comfort and good vibes. The rooms are exquisitely designed and furnished, and impeccably clean. Each room has a theme which inspires the decoration in a subtle way. Beds are extremely comfortable. The complementary morning coffee is a nice gesture, and the roof terrace is great to lounge in the sun (or under the stars).
