Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PolandI didn't have lamp next to my bed or some small shelf to put my stuff and I had bed at the top so i had to get up all the time for light or my things. There are also no curtains for each bed so there is not much privacy. Room was next to pretty busy street so at night it was loud, but if you use earplugs i guess it's fine.
I think hostel is really clean, nice bathroom and kitchen. Bed was comfortable and didn't make noise like bunk beds usually do.

United KingdomThe beds need curtains on them as soon as possible! For privacy and whatnot. It will be highly appreciated! A proper cooker, stove would be also highly appreciated.
Be aware: To get to the hostel from Cordoba Coach / Bus Station and Train Station alike, you either get Bus 3 in front of Estacion de Autobuses or walk about 10 - 15 minutes. I took the bus, which was a nice ride. The hostel is well located, near everything: The old town, bars, restaurants, supermarkets, etc It's very impressive, beautifully done. It's nice and quiet, close to all the main touristic Cordoba main attractions. Their kitchen is spot on, nice fridge and you can cook your meals. I slept like a baby, due to the quiet and welcoming ambience. I would stay there again! I really enjoyed it :-) I would recommend it to friends and family!! The staff was polite, extremely helpful and friendly. They kindly printed my Ryanair boarding pass! A huge Thank You to them! Much appreciated their kindness!

United StatesNothing particularly amazing about the property, but nothing bad either.
It’s not the most modern and comfortable place, but it’s a good decent hostel for exploring Córdoba. It has a kind of Andalucían charm; the bathrooms for example look a little dated but it’s part of the authentic vibe. It’s not a very social hostel, so if you want to meet people you’ll have to strike up random conversations in the kitchen or something like that.

PhilippinesI can't say if this is true for all rooms, but mine (Añil 4, top bunk) was just ridiculously designed. First the bunk is way too high (I'm a regular hostel user so this was one just stood out). And the top bunk is just in front of an aircon unit. I didn't want to use the Aircon as it's unnecessary (it was cool enough if you open your window) but as with all dorms, you are a subject to the vote of the majority. They all want the Aircon for air circulation, so I had cold air blasting my direction for two straight nights. I ended up having a cold. I asked the lady at the reception if I could be transferred to a different room but she sternly said they're full. Her remedy was to hide the remote control of the Aircon (ridiculous). I never hid it, and she never took it. This would have been avoided if the bed was not directly in front of the Aircon. No one wants to sleep that way.
Near the Mezquita and right at the Juderia

The location was incredibly convenient and felt truly authentic to Córdoba, as if I were staying in one of the city’s historic spots. The staff were super friendly, and the atmosphere had such amazing energy!

United StatesThe lockers are very old and didn't feel especially secure. The door going into the room was challenging as well. It'd be great if they could improve on the room security features and I'd give it a 8 or 10🙏 Highest bunk beds I've ever seen (!!!) but they gave me a bottom bunk by my second night (of five)
Excellent location. Super helpful staff. Shannon, their volunteer from Chicago even walked me to the bus stop the day I left so I wouldn't get lost 🫶 Really nice atmosphere.

TurkeyI wish the common areas (living room, patio, terrace) would not close after 11, also sometimes had connection problems with wifi but it was not too often, so its ok
Very beautiful interior, everything was very nice and clean, nice staff, incredible location. Facilities were enough, had lockers in the room. Had some doubts on booking mixed room as a woman but everything was great with all the roomies!

United KingdomThe top bunks were unusually high so there were a number of foot-hurting ladder rungs to reach them. Luckily, I had a bottom bunk! The locker locks were very basic. You're relying on the honesty of your roomies and not on the integrity of the locks. There were no individual bedside lights, so one person had to hop out of bed to get the main light once everyone was ready to settle.
Great location. Friendly helpful staff. Clean bathrooms and dorms. Loved the roof terrace. Very picturesque surroundings, I loved the ambience.

BelgiumWhen you come in during the day you can't enter the hostel with a key or code, but you have to knock so someone of the staff can let you in. But that's just a small thing :)
Every single staff member is super friendly and wanting to help, from before checking in till after checking out. I felt very welcome here. It is a nice and calm hostel, no outside noise, even though it's in the center just a street away from the mosque. Even the guests were all quiet. The atmosphere was peaceful which made it nice to rest there during the day too. It's a pretty building. There's a small kitchen with all the necessary things for making your meals. The bed was comfortable and the showers were of a comfortable size as well. Apart from the lockers in the rooms, there's also space under the beds which I used as storage space. I think this hostel really suits the city well and I would come back here if I were to return to Córdoba!

I had a great visit. The location in the old town of Cordoba was fabulous: down a quiet alley a stone’s throw from La Mezquita. The place had a charming ambience and was great value for money. The staff were friendly, kitchen worked well for a small backpackers and there was bottomless coffee😉.
