The pool was open from 10 am and the breakfast finished at 10am as well. I was hoping to swim before breakfast so it was a bit disappointing that the pool opened that late.

Bathroom door provides for little privacy. Also the sink is kind of small. 15 min walk away from the center. Gym was very small (max 2-3 people at the same time) and no towels provided most of the times.

Nice rooftop pool. The room was clean and modern. I liked the jacuzzi and enjoyed the little fitness area. Location is convenient.

Garage: its a hell to park your car, space is measured by the inch. Its a puzzle to park the car. Our car (5 doors) was a hell to make turns in the garage, A hell parking for the price of 15 euro per day.

The property is a little outdated and requires and bit of maintenance. sockets were falling out of walls and the furniture in the rooms is pretty used. the swimming pool of its size might be fun only for the kids, however, it can be seen from the pictures. the swimming pool should have extended working hours as well. 10:00 to 20:00 is no good.

It’s a relatively big place with all necessary facilities one might require. Most of the staff is happy to help to most of the requests.

The gym area is very small and very little cleaning and ventilation so not as hygienic as would have liked.

Much further from the bars and restaurants than we expected. Also some confusion with the booking as it had been advertised with breakfast but when we arrived we had to pay extra for that.

Overall, I was pretty happy with my stay at this hotel, but I did have a few gripes. Parking was a bit of a nightmare. The hotel does have its own car park, but the spaces are really tight and there are loads of pillars about, making it quite the challenge to park. As for the pool, which looked so inviting in the adverts, it turned out to be quite small and not all that clean, really. I went up for a swim, but ended up not risking it and just headed to the bar instead.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It’s brilliantly located, just a short walk from the seafront and the city’s tourist centre. The staff were friendly and responsive, always ready to lend a hand. The breakfasts were decent too, with a good variety of options. This hotel is a great choice for anyone looking to conveniently explore the city.

My criticism goes to the hotel staff. They were extremely rude to us at various times. I traveled with two small children and took a small inflatable pool for them to play in next to the adult pool. The pool didn't take up much space and the children were well behaved. The hotel manager came up to me and rudely demanded that I move the pool. The guests around me didn't understand why either, and as one of them told me, "that woman probably doesn't have any children". If it had been an inflatable buoy in the pool that was disturbing the other guests I would have understood, but it was something outside the pool. The day we left, our flight was at night. We couldn't get a late check out at the hotel, but we asked if we could stay in the pool area for an hour with the children so they wouldn't get tired of waiting in the hotel lobby. The employee said no, because the pool was for guests only and we were no longer guests of the hotel. I thought that was extremely rude. We had just spent over 2,000 euros to stay at the hotel and we were thrown out the moment we checked out. I would have expected different treatment from a Marriot.

The hotel itself is wonderful. We stayed in a two-bedroom suite that was the perfect size for a family of four. Modern hotel, very rich and tasty breakfast. The center is a 20-minute walk away, but you don't even feel it because there's so much to see on the way.

Pool area felt abit cramped. Small pool area for a hotel this size, so everyone was very close together. It’s abit of a walk from the historical centre, but this is reflected on the price.

The pool could have done with more umbrellas and shaded areas in general, and was quite small. The gym facility was also tiny and would have liked more variety in weights available.
