Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SwedenWe loved our stay at this Javea apartment. It was very clean, had all the amenities needed even beach chairs and a portable speaker, to make it a comfortable stay. The hosts were kind to give a bottle of champagne for my birthday and were very responsive when it came to coordinating for the keys and any recommendations we needed. The location was perfect for us because it was just between the beach and the old town. It was not located directly near the main touristy beach (which we liked) but you could easily walk there. There is still a beach nearby with plenty of nice restaurants nearby but less crowded. This apartment was also great to take advantage of the proximity to the old town where the best restaurants and bars were. I would recommend this apartment for anyone looking to come to Javea. It was a nice space, with a lovely balcony view, and excellent hosts. Thank you!

The owners are lovely and very helpful. It was good to meet them when we had a slight problem with TV and they were on site within 30 mins. Cannot fault the service they provide.

IrelandAlex was a very welcoming host. He gave us a brief intro to the facilities and apartment and had a complementary coffee pods and a bottle of cava in the fridge. Lovely clean apartment. The balcony faces north so you can sit out there in the evening and watch the sun set behind the del montgo mountain. Big outdoor pool and jacuzzis. Quick 7min walk to the port beach front but there's also 3 restaurant/bars outside the apartment complex. Beach towels, beach chairs, TV with chrome cast, Bluetooth speaker, good Aircon, washing machine, all nice additional facilities. Only stayed one night but I wouldn't hesitate to stay again if I'm back in Javea.

United KingdomBed was not a double size so we couldn’t sleep properly - my partner was relegated to the couch (we are of a normal weight) but bed was described as a ‘large double’ in the property description. This is inaccurate . 1 cheap basic uncomfortable pillow each / so very uncomfortable sleep between us… Lack of kitchen cupboard space - nowhere to put food away. No units on the wall. No cupboard door on saucepan cupboard. Gym facilities looked like world war 2 vintage rusty or not working!Cockroaches came out of shower base ..although this may have been unavoidable as place was cleaned ok.
Simple clean convenient Flatlet within walking distance of port & old town. Large fridge freezer. Washing machine. Netflix. Liked the indoor- outdoor pool in November could swim.

United KingdomNoisy dog across the road barking at night. Could have been equipped with more crockery, cutlery. No cupboards for food. No shelves. The kitchen could do with these being fitted and that would also increase worktop space. We stayed for a week. If we only stayed for a couple of days would not have been so much of a problem.
Location was good and pool was nice.
