“This is a beautiful family-run property in a gorgeous old building that has been lovingly renovated. Our room was large and well-outfitted with a small balcony. The shower was excellent with lots of hot water, and good shower gel and shampoo. The bed was comfy and there was a thick duvet available for colder nights. The air conditioning worked really well and the place was quiet and cozy. The restaurant is absolutely first rate - possibly the best meal we have had in Spain - and Santi is an attentive and caring host. The breakfast was really good, with great coffee and orange juice, and once again, Santi was there to ensure everything was perfect. There are great hiking trails in the area and it is right on the Via Verde de Tajuna so a good spot for cyclists.”
“Everything. But a it was la a huge disappointment not to get food there on. Sunday and this was made much worse because we told the proprietor our return date and pre- ordered octopus. He never explained that the hotel was closed on the Sunday of our return. We were exhausted from our drive and this ruined the evening and the entire stay there.”
