The sofa chair in the room had a sunk seat, prolly a sign of old age.

The staff was wonderful, the lady in red Sabreena was fantastic, she made sure we were well taken care of. Latifa was wonderful also happy to help. We enjoyed the complimentary Spa everyday! Chef waheed was a delight during breakfast. Everything was great! Great location, near the airport and malls. The kids also enjoyed very much.

Beautiful hotel with many amazing amenities. The staff is very friendly, the kids' club was clean and fun. The kids also loved the pool, and the room service food was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay. We had dinner at the sushi restaurant our last night in Cairo and had a great experience. The ambiance and food quality were great, and the chef and servers were super friendly and hospitable.

There was an exhibition which caused lots of traffic and affected our schedule for visiting places.

The staff could improve with clear communication. The reservation team shares information online, and when you get to the reception, they say something else. Some of the staff cannot be trusted.

Cleanliness could be better. Presence of blackish spots in the bathroom, mostly of mold. Leaking shower that caused the bathroom floor to flood every time we used it. This was reported but no proper action was taken. Unfortunately, our Deluxe City Room lacked interesting views. Complimentary sweets were only offered on the first day. Complimentary water, tea, and coffee were of cheap brands. No fruits were provided. The food at The State restaurant was average. The hotel's location is quite far from the city but conveniently close to the airport.

Overall impression: The Royal Maxim Palace Kempinski in Cairo has a beautiful design, but there were some aspects that didn't meet my expectations for a five-star hotel. The staff was exceptionally kind, helpful, and cooperative. The room itself was lovely, especially the bathroom, but we encountered issues such as a leaking shower while using it. Complimentary sweets were only offered on the first day. Complimentary water, tea, and coffee. The hotel boasts multiple restaurants, and we experienced the Ramadan iftar and suhoor at the State restaurant, where the staff was accommodating, although the food was average. The hotel offers numerous amenities such as a beauty salon, spa, nightclub, gym, and meeting rooms. Additionally, the presence of ATMs that offer currency exchange at favorable rates was convenient. The hotel's location is conveniently close to the airport.
