The bus waiting time is long and some times extends beyond reasonable especially during the day when the weather is hot.

I've been to the hotel with family last year and we decided to visit again this year. The hotel staff starting from management including Mr. Mina and Mr. Haitham were very hospitable and kind, they made themselves available any time to look into our requirements and were always generous providing more than what we requested. The hotel is new and its facilities are still at its best conditions. It has nice swimming pools across its space. It also has nice landscapes. The hotel is clean and house keeping are doing a great job. We tried mostly all restaurants and the snack bars, and we can say that the food quality and variety are both excellent especially during the themed nights. One of the best advantages at this hotel is the the beach has part which is sandy where you can enjoy swimming without being bothered with rocks or corals.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Pickalbatros Portfino Resort, and I can't recommend it highly enough! The staff here are incredibly friendly and attentive, making every moment of my stay truly enjoyable. A special shout-out to Mr. Sayed at the reception, who consistently went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect during my visit. His warm demeanor and professionalism made a significant difference! Additionally, Chef Adel deserves a huge thank you for the amazing food and outstanding hospitality. Our evaluation is 10 because of the kidness of the staff always ready to satisfy every need , the beautiful and breathless oasis in which the resort extends that offers relax and every kind of activities you want. The quality of food was unbelieved compared to any other resorts in sharm el sheik. Only one note, the activietes outside and the shopping area are little expensive. Absolutely nothing could have been better. Everything, from the service to the ambiance, was flawless. It's rare to find a place where there’s truly nothing to criticize, but this experience exceeded every expectation. I wouldn't change a thing!

I just wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank Mr. Sayed Nageh, Mr. Mohamed Saber, Eng. Islam, and Mr. Haitham for their tremendous help and support during a personal issue I faced with my car tires on the way to Marsa Alam. I truly appreciate everything they’ve done to restore everything to order and make life easier for me. Their quick assistance and dedication made a challenging situation much more manageable, and for that, I am incredibly grateful. Regarding my stay and the hotel itself, I really can’t find the words to describe just how amazing this place is, From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty and atmosphere. Everything about the experience was beyond exceptional, the attention to detail, the ambiance, and the service were all flawless. The hotel is huge, with an incredible range of facilities and entertainment options. From countless pools and restaurants to a spa, fitness center, padel and tennis courts and even live shows, there’s always something to do. Whether you're looking to relax or stay active, the hotel caters to every need, making it impossible to get bored. The aqua park is awesome! It was one of the highlights of our stay. With a variety of fun water slides, pools, and attractions for all ages, it provided endless entertainment They have about nine restaurants and bars, and although we couldn't try them all during our five-night stay, the ones we did visit were outstanding. Each venue offered something unique, from gourmet dining to casual bites, and the atmosphere in each was just as impressive as the food. I only wish we had more time to explore the full range of culinary experiences they offer. It’s definitely a reason to come back. In fact Pickalbatros Villaggio will be our vacation destination from now on.

The best decision we could have made for our honeymoon was choosing Pickalbatros Portofino. This hotel is simply paradise. From the very first moment and throughout our entire stay, the service we received from Sayed at the reception and from all the staff in every part of the hotel made us feel completely relaxed and happy. As soon as we arrived in our room, it was decorated to celebrate our honeymoon. This gesture was repeated several times during the days we stayed, and each time it happened, we were always surprised and left with a smile. The attention to detail from every member of the staff is incredible and remarkable. We would like to thank Taha again for always being so attentive with the cleanliness of our room and the special touches he provided. The hotel has EVERYTHING: countless pools, a beautiful beach, two amazing water parks, and interactive shows every night. Besides the facilities, we must highlight the kindness of every person working here, always with a proactive attitude and offering a smile. The only minus is the really shallow entrance to the sea and the water up to the neck. Otherwise, the sea is beautifully clean and warm like in a bath.

I must say that this hotel meets the highest criteria of a 4* hotel. We took advantage of their Spa massage for a couple. Pedicure and complete face care. It was really fantastic. Even though we were there for 20 days in restaurants, the food and type of cuisine changes, so there is always something to choose from. And the evening shows are amazing. We had a bungalow with a sea view so it was really worth it. The cleaner was very nice and helpful. Even the gardener who was tending the garden near the bungalow. Staff boys on the beach with towels were always smiling and helpful.And Jozef from bar was very polite all the time. But for us, I would like to thanks the manager Mr. Haytham who was willing to help us in every situation, even an unpleasant one, when visiting the clinic. But also for any other request. Really admirable gentleman. Personally, I recommend the resort more for families with children, they will definitely enjoy themselves there.

Excellent hotel with so many pools you cannot even tell how many they are and an aqua park for kids and adults which is very well organized. The people are very polite, respectful and always trying to help. The must is the sandy beach with the corral reef you can directly access thanks to the jetty… so many fishs can be observed by simply snorkeling and it is so easy, the real Red Sea treasure!

This was the second Pickalbatros experience after sharm el sheik. This hotel resort was too huge for my kids, but they loved riding a family four wheel bicycle and a small bus/cart. Food was nice and location is fine.

There evening Shows that were ok, but dont expect too much (esp. the Host was rather annoying) The sea is in parts just knee-deep all up to the boundary but there are some deeper spots.

Overall an excellent value for money and noticeable commitment to making the stay comfortable (both in service and infrastructure/buildings/gardening etc) Very nice, well maintained area, variety of restaurants and good food, helpful personnel, spacious appartment, good AC; didnt feel overcrowded anywhere.

We had an excellent stay at this resort, we were given a wonderful upgrade as soon as we arrived ( a large 2 bed, 2 bath, large lounge with direct access to a terrace to a shared private pool (Royal suite). Which we highly recommend as it is centre to reception, aqua park, shops, and nearby restaurants and few minutes walk to a wonderful beach. Red sea is amazing, crystal clear, warm with no waves so very safe and great for snorkeling. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and everything was extremely clean. ( I broke my phone and the fantastic hotel manager Haytham sent it off and fixed it within 24 hours for a very cheap price). The resort is very large, more like a village so depending where you are, it is not always possible to walk to restaurants but the resort provide free fun buses or 4 seater bikes to get around which are great fun. Food was great quality with lots of options to choose from, plenty of drinks on offer too. Don't be put off of the non direct flights from the UK to Marsa Alam, it is so worth it. We originally started in Cairo, then took a short flight to Luxor, then got a private car to Marsa Alam which took 4.5 hours, which was great as we passed through villages and saw the real Egypt, On the way home we flew from Marsa Alam to Prague then got a flight back to Heathrow. We went in August which is Egypts low season due to the heat, but this meant there was less tourists which we prefer. There are 22 pools at this resort and so always plenty of sunbeds etc and plenty of beach loungers, with beautiful umbrella, windbreaker and bean bags. Overall fantastic service and staff, and an amazing resort in a perfect location. Huge thanks for a wonderful stay

We recently stayed at Pickalbatros Villaggio Portofino, It’s located in one of the most beautiful areas of Egypt ( Marsa Alam ) and it was an incredible experience. The natural beauty of the location was breathtaking. The aqua park is designed with safety and fun in mind, making it a fantastic family-friendly attraction. Our kids couldn’t get enough of it. The staff at the hotel were exceptionally welcoming and made us feel right at home. Their warm hospitality added a special touch to our stay. We were impressed by the variety of shows and performances, specifically the kids dancing party. One of the highlights of our visit was the visit to Abu Dabab Beach, and it was an unforgettable experience. This stunning beach offers some of the best snorkeling in the area. The clear blue waters and the chance to swim alongside sea turtles. It was absolutely breathtaking, The beach is also home to a wide variety of beautiful fish and colorful coral reefs. Overall, Pickalbatros Portofino is a wonderful place to stay, especially if you’re looking to enjoy the natural beauty of Marsa Alam while having a relaxing and fun-filled experience. I think it would be nice if there is a bit more Arabic and Egyptian culture and folklore to be shown during evening shows. Animation team consisting of local people could better understand what guests need. Stronger AC in the restaurants will also be a benefit.

Fantastic staff who did their best on every step to check on our big family and make sure each and every one of them is comfortable and happy. The room was spacious, nicely furnished and very clean. Beds are comfortable. There is variety of amenities to use, all the bars and restaurant serve very nice food. In general the atmosphere was brilliant, thank you so much for all the hardworking people from gardeners, to bikes maintenance, restaurant staff, housekeeping, lifeguards, reception, management - all of you made us feel taken care of and welcomed! Special thanks to Mr. Haitham from management, we will definitely come back the next holiday.
