Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

TunisiaLack of maintenance as to the bathroom and the furniture which made the room look old. The walking distance to the private beach is around 15 min with no shuttle bus.
The greatest thing about this hotel is the staff, they are just very helpful and kind trying to understand and provide the guest's needs. The rooms are equipped with a flat screen and a mini bar.The location is at the center of Naama bay facilities, and the private beach is nice.

IndiaVery particular about early check-in, inspite of taking the charges for an early check-in, would not make adjustments to the time even though the room was unoccupied. We had to wait 4 hrs in the lounge early morning till 6:15 Am

United StatesWiFi doesn't work. Water pressure in the shower is lukewarm. WiFi needs to work. And they need to check on the water pressure in the shower. Other than that it's a great place to stay in Naama Bay
Good Clean Room. Comfortable. If u like there is room cleaning every day but I didn't really need it. Staff is very nice. Buffet Breakfast is the best in Egypt. Loved their breakfast. Amazing Beautiful Pool. They provide beach towels and Kanabish Beach is free to use if u r staying in the hotel. I highly recommend this place. I'll love to stay here again when I'm back in Sharm

RomaniaMore choice and tastier food.
Good accommodation close to Naama bay. The food was not as delicious and varied as in the hotel closer to the Old Market, but in return the drinks were measured more generously. All in all, you can spend 2-3 days well here.

ItalyAmong negative moments I can pick out dirty floor in a room and uncomfortable shower cabins. Food in the hotel was one day good, another day not really.
I spent a nice week in Falcon Naama Star. I enjoyed a convenient location close to everything you need like clubs, shops, beach and market. Anyway, for this price it is nice and I think it is perfect for a company of friends. Animator Maruwan was very hospitable!

TurkeyThe rooms are quite old thats why it feels like not clean. Breakfast is not great. There are no sunlights in the rooms windows open the the inside of the building.
Well it is a cheap hotel provides limited facilities. If you are a traveler who are not planning to stay in hotel all day, it is okey to stay. Not expect alot. Location of the hotel is amazing very close to anywhere you need. Beach that they work with is quite good. I really enjoyed boat tour they arranged.

United StatesThe hotel has a private beach. You need a special card to enter. The card was not checked upon entry at the beach. Don't know what it is for. At the beach, I was yelled at by some guy who claimed I was using his rental snorkel gear and I had to pay him. I brought my own snorkel gear. Rude but very common to have this kind of practice. I felt very unwelcome at the beach. If it's actually the private beach of the hotel, they could teach their staff some manners. Or ward off scammers that may come to the beach to trick tourists into buying stuff. It's a shame if Egypt would get a bad wrap because of this.
Hotel that is in line with the price that is offered. It is located just "up the street" from the busy part of town and from the beach, but only 15 minute walk. The weather in October is pleasant, not too warm. Right behind is the huge shopping center that was a bit hard to find, but from the pool area you can see the big signs. It's great for some shopping or groceries. The room is basic but has all that you need. A nice bed, desk, shower a bit old but oh well. No hot water in the shower. Housekeeping cleans the room whenever needed. I had a view of an inner walkway. It was rather quiet. A/C is there but doesn't work that well. Maybe needs a clean? It was fine because it wasn't that hot, but can imagine in the summer it's not pleasant. The wifi in the room was there, but don't expect miracles. In previous reviews it says there is only wifi in the reception. I think since then they have updated a bit, I can see wifi booster antennas sticking out of the ceiling in the hallways. Data speeds are slow. You won't be skyping with your grandma. However, you can buy an Egyptian SIM everywhere for cheap with reliable data. The pool area is nice. There is a lifeguard, or was he? and there are some entertainment options like yoga. I choose the booking with breakfast included. You can also choose one with dinner, or, like I did, purchase dinner once or twice. It is buffet style that changes some items now and then. There are some but very few meat-less options. For the price, it is ok. There is a lot of staff at the hotel. Some speak English, other's don't. The entrance is secure, with a metal detector and guard.
