Pool restricted hours, almost everything stops by sundown except bar or disco

From checking with Mr Mahmoud with big smile and make u feel home, it was a great experience and we will be visiting again.

It’s not fully all-inclusive. You don’t get alcoholic drinks included. The mini bar is not free (you can only get one soda and water for free from it). Some service promoters are very pushy.

Everything is clean, everyone is kind, the pools are amazing, the beach is well maintained. Food was very good.

The stuff not trained enough to deal F2F with the guests however the managers were very helpful, decent and professional. You don’t have any options to take the snacks out of the beach or the pool bar you have to set and finish on spot. I know it is special request but there are no options to have Turkish coffee from any bar or restaurant except one place behind the lobby starting from 12PM.

Beach was great for kids However the first steps to the sea might be clean enough specially in the Tides times and it was like mission to get drink you have to walk a lot and there are no other options, Rooms were clean, wide and the bed was very comfortable. Many pools available around 6 or 7 and it is perfect for kids and adults to enjoy. Many green and wonderful gardens.

Very shallow - need to walk at least 50m to get to waist high water and that’s on a high tide. A very narrow exit to open water for windsurfers. Only two themed restaurants (Italian and fish) in addition to the main dining facility, so food becomes repetitive. You get one voucher per week into the themed restaurants.

Good location in the middle of Makadi Bay, so you can walk to either end in under 20 min. A very large hotel with beautiful grounds. Very clean. Plenty of sun loungers on the beach. Good beach bars, including one serving fast food at lunch time. Friendly and helpful staff. Good entertainment in the evening with live singers and a performance to follow. On site tennis courts, volleyball courts, beach tennis court, gym, a range of animator-led classes, a running route in the grounds make for a good sporting holiday.

- SPA and gym are terrible, ancient and unattractive facilities over there. - Massage costs 130EUR. - The Internet connection is terrible, I had to buy a sim card. This is not what I expect to see in 5* hotel.

I had a great stay overall. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurants were good, but not extraordinary. However, I was extremely pleased with the beach and its facilities.

The beach was very rocky and beach shoes are highly recommended. The water is beautiful and clear but very shallow for a very long distance. The pool restaurant is reasonably priced but the food quality is very low. The service staff at the pool restaurant are generally courteous and provide good service, especially Samir and ElBadawy. Thank you to them. The main restaurant had good chefs but there were attempts at being a bit too cost-efficient, in terms of quantity of expensive components and in terms of quality of some items (e.g. cheeses). Also, some things ran out 30+ minutes early from the buffet and weren't replenished. Moreover, they started removing items from the buffet tables 10-15 minutes early. Most of the secondary service staff are not providing proper service and some don't appear to have proper training in terms of what their role is. The impression is that they are not well-paid and hence unmotivated. Examples include the reception staff who don't perform their orientation role properly and seem in a hurry to get rid of you more than anything else, the quest services person who gave us erroneous info about the archery and the bellboy who didn't just left the bag at the door, etc. It seemed to me that management was focusing on one part of the resort very well and significantly under-investing in human resources. The facilities were nice and well-maintained. Several pools and gym, etc. The breakfast and dinner buffets were very good, in terms of variety and, perhaps to a lesser extent, quality. The premises are well laid out and well-maintained.

There were no slippers at the room, + they need to monitor the relax pool area and not allowing any kids to enter it and make noise

All the activities are avaliable at the resort from day till night, and there is no need to go out side the resort. + the hygiene was good, and food had a lot of varieties for vegan and non vegan.

In my stay the weather was windy and kinda cold , given it is the end of april and winter wasnt almost over, when i asked for the heated pool they said they switch it off by 15th of april which was completely inconvenient for me and my family because we dont feel either happy or comfortable in cold water

For us it was too big. The food, while plenty of it, lacked simplicity and healthy options. Staff were sometimes rude and unhelpful.

We were upgraded to a great room, large and spacious, huge bed and great view. There were lots of things to do to occupy your time - we tried flying yoga, pool gymnastics, step and yoga. There is something for everyone at this hotel.

Was given 2 single beds not a double. We may have been able to change but we had just left another hotel because it was so bad and had only 3 days left of our hols so could not be bothered.

The space was great, lots of beach and grounds to walk along even outside the resort without getting harrassed. The snorkeling from the 2 jettys is amazing for hurghada.
