- The resort is huge and there were no elevators so it was so tiring to move with a baby stroller. - There were couple of guys in marina cafe who only smile and so friendly to foreigners but so grimacing to Egyptians. - The sandy beach is so small. - The infinity pool was in maintenance.

- Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. - The food was very good and had many varieties. - The resort is wonderful and has great sea views. - Columbus and lobby Cafes were very nice.

All the crew was amazing specially mr mohamed saed rashed and also hakim and ibrahim those two working in sea restaurant. this is the first time i remember the crew because of there professionalism.

Its not a family hotel ( especially kids and old people) because they have alot of stairs and elevators are rare and even not working

The stuff are dealing with Egyptian gusts different than other nationalities, for instance I went to the beach bar asking for a drink 10 minutes before it starts and they were there however they refused giving me, but other gust did the same after couple of minutes and they gave her what she wanted.

The place was clean and calm, and the beach is amazing!

We stayed in Pickalbatros Citadel Resort for a week, and that was truly amazing and unforgettable! All facilities are so clean, the rooms are comfortable, the food are great and have a lot of choices, all staffs are so hospitable and helpful! They work very hard to make the resort clean, comfortable and make all the guests feel at home. More incrediblely, they all look so happy! Their big smiles are like a catalyst, making everyone feel happier immediately! They are also doing a diligent job at keeping the beaches clean, the sea is crystal clear, there is no litter anywhere, lots of fish enjoy swimming with people, you can just snorkel there and see them! Lots of entertainment events as well, we especially enjoyed the flamingo pink party in the pool, where people were riding on pink inflatable flamingos, dancing together with the dancers, such a memorable summer afternoon!

The staff were amazing, however, there were a lot of vendors constantly trying to sell things to you including tours, massages, golden booda events etc. This became an issue when the vendors would not accept no for an answer. We were repeatedly asked about diving by the same people despite having done it already! Whilst reading a book, we would be disturbed by the vendors trying to sell us stuff. I would highly recommend to the management to train your vendors not to disturb guests when they are relaxing by the pool/beach - this creates a highly unrelaxing atmosphere. Also, when guests say "No" to accept that and not to pressurise you. This is a resort afterall and hotel management should be responsible for creating a relaxed atmosphere. The evening entertainment was great, however the music was excessively loud. Both of us had ringing in our ears and when we went back to our room, we could still hear the music. Please lower the volume of the music.

The staff are amazing. They make this resort. They are incredibly friendly, attentive, hard working and just wonderful. Everytime we needed something or asked a question, the staff were able to help. They worked all day and some late into the night to make this experience incredible. The staff would often say hello to us and we would have a brief conversation. We felt very welcomed. The food.....WOW! There are multiple restaurants and the standard across all is amazing. We tried the food court, tajine (pre booked at guest relations in the hotel lobby) and culina restaurant. Our favourite was the food court as it had the most amazing food. There was freshly cooked meat (beef, chicken, duck, lamb) and fish, often BBQ'd or cooked in front of you. There was a lot of vegetarian food and it tasted wonderful. The freshly baked pitta bread was some of the best we have had. For breakfast, the freshly made eggs, pancakes really made me look forward to breakfast. The beach was unique in that you entered into a lagoon which was part of the sea and then you could swim round to the main part of the sea. This was amazing. You can hire snorkels but we ended up paying a lot to rent 2 snorkels and I would recommend bringing your own. Be careful with the non lagoon beaches as they are very rocky and you can easily injure yourself. We just stuck to the lagoon beach. The swimming pools were wonderful. The restaurants provide breakfast, lunch, an afternoon snack and dinner. However, throughout the day and into the evening, there are bars and cafes serving drinks (great iced coffee) and snacks, You can also get ice cream in the afternoon. Amazing! There are tour companies based at the resort and we booked a diving tour with them. This made it very straightforward to book and we had a wonderful diving experince. The resort is very secure with good security and checks on entering the resort.
