Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaOur check in was delayed, which was compensated with some “jungle dollars” but would have been nice to offer a realistic time frame for room to be ready. We were told 5-10 minutes, but it was almost 40 mins before we were given our keys. Rooms are small and corridors are quite confusing and dark.
The pool is incredible! An oasis in the middle of the city. So magical and definitely needed after a long flight! Staff are so lovely, especially Gaultier at breakfast! He truly went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and included tips on where to eat and what to see.

PolandLack of good blackout blinds; our room was poorly soundproofed - we could hear clearly sounds from the main street. Also we think it would be nice if staff from the reception say “good morning/ Hi ” when entering and leaving the hotel.

IsraelThe rooms, facilities and lobby are tired and need redecoration. The bathroom had mold in the grout of the tiles which smells wet. The rooms were not well cleaned. Coffee machine not included in the room but the staff brought one with limited supply of capsules when asked.

United KingdomThe sauna and steam room were sub par and lacked privacy. We could see a man showering completely naked and blowing his nose whilst rinsing his mouth. I understand that saunas are shared spaces but my partner and I didn’t not expect to see someone else’s penis whilst in the sauna.

United KingdomWe really liked the hotel and loved the spa/ pool but found it quite wild that we were charged for the crisps that were placed in the room. There wasn’t a price list or a note about the 3x snacks sat by the free waters so it seemed like they were complimentary. We told the staff checking us out that we thought they were included because of this and their response was just ‘oh yeah no they aren’t’. Having spent nearly 500€ a night you’d expect a property not to cheap out on something like crisps- which they charged 5€ for a tiny bag. We wouldn’t have eaten them had we known they weren’t complimentary and leaving on this note made it feel a little sour.
The pool is amazing and worth booking in itself, such an incredible spa and pool. The rooms were also fantastic. Beds were very comfortable.

United StatesI highly recommend it’s beautiful property and well taken care of very clean. The staff is very nice as for the location it’s about 15 minute walk to the center during the summer it was OK for us, but I don’t think I can do that in the winter. And taxes are extremely expensive in Copenhagen. Coming back to the hotel after walking all day and getting into the pool is just amazing. That part was my favorites. The restaurant is very good. There is a bar by the pool and food. The price is a little too high for a small boutique hotel. Overall, we had a great time.

PolandNothing major. The bed was too soft for my liking; sauna & steam room were located where people (including staff) walk by, so you can't really relax + there wasn't a room to lie down afterwards.
Good location, the pool inside of the building, working as a common area was something I haven't seen before, especially in Europe. Proper staff. Sauna & steam room were OK.
