Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

ThailandThe property is located in the center area so there was a lot of noise from people and also the sound of bell from cathedral. You might have to get earplugs in the night. In addition, there’s no elevator in the building. Our room is on 2nd floor so it was struggle to bring all the luggages to the room. If you’re not strong, it might be a problem.
The location is very good. It’s near everything; metro, shopping area, supermarket and restaurant. The room is quite spacious with 2 bedrooms. And it was very easy traveling from airport.

United StatesLittle things were missing that we generally expected to be there such as hand soap, paper towels. The noise level on streets to the early hours of the morning can be a challenge if you want to sleep with windows open. A price of the convenient location.
Location is convenient. Very spacious. Very clean. Many conveniences. Also appreciated the ready response to my questions from the management. Very accommodating.

Very centrally located, within 2min of the nearest subway station. Close to shopping and a number of good restaurants. Very spacious apartment tastefully decorated and stocked with everything you need.

UkraineThere was a distinct lack of instructions for the modern cooking oven and hob. No instructions about how to control the heating and as we needed to wash quite a bit of clothing a hanging rack would have been of use. The almost brand new cooking hob stopped working completely and was replaced with a basic substitute that did enable us to cook breakfast and compensation was refused. So we had to eat out in the evenings. Not a big deal as there were many options.
The location was first class. The apartment was very comfortable and plenty of space for clothing etc. We loved the open plan kitchen and eating area. The TV even had its own area with huge sofa and reclined relax chair. Beds were comfortable. Access was good.

United KingdomFor an apartment costed so highly we were disappointed to find we had to pay extra due to our flight getting in late, as we were not aware of our flight when booking as it was arranged by another, 450 dkr. We couldn’t cancel when we found this out. Also very disappointed that there was no tea, coffee, milk or shower gel provided. I have never stayed in an apartment without these basics being supplied. It was also very stressful not knowing if anyone was going to meet us with the keys, as the number we were given to ring, went to answer phone and we just had to hope for the best. The entrance hall is smelly due to the bins being on the stairs and it was very hot. The blinds also let a lot of light into the bedroom next to the bathroom as the bedroom door is glass panels, so if you are a light sleeper this could be a problem. We didn’t try the front bedroom as it overlooks walking street and thought it may be noisy. The bathroom is a little tired, with discoloured grout in the shower
The location was great, central for everything. The property was a great size and the beds were comfy, although the pillows not so much. As we ended up only being there for 36 hrs we didn’t use the kitchen facilities On arrival is looks super modern and trendy, stay there for a night you will find the pitfalls

United KingdomWe had planned to explore Copenhagen by day and eat and chill most evenings in the apartment with our children however, it was seriously lacking kitchen accessories such as a drainer (for pasta or other requirements), there was no peeler, no small knife for cutting vegetables or fruit, only a carving and bread knife and no pasta or serving spoons. Making eating in the apartment not easy. The hob and oven were complicated to work without instructions available and so I had to use YouTube videos to workout how they worked. These are little things which can be easily fixed and overall we loved the apartment.
Fabulous central location to explore Copenhagen. Spacious apartment, with modern decoration throughout and a contemporary kitchen.
