Nothing - it was all perfect.

Great stay for cyclists - they have a locked bike room and a lift to the upper floors. The reception staff were great, the room modern, the wifi good, the bed comfy and there was plenty of hot water. Town is only a 5 minute walk and Ulm has a lot to see in its historic altstadt - it even has the old town walls to walk along the Danube. We stayed two nights and would love to stay again. Breakfast was excellent both mornings.

Sorry I must share this because we actually have experience to compare: In this price range, we'd had better decorated, better equipped (minifridge, kettle), less echo-y, and quieter rooms on our 3 week trip around Germany. Also it's great that you can step out the window to a big (shared) terrace but in the summer that big concrete surface quickly heats up the room too.

We had a big room with a fan and a safe, and our own bathroom that was spacious! The staff were really kind and welcoming!

The hotel's restaurant was closed, and the breakfast was fairly basic and perhaps a bit overpriced. The hotel is close to the railway, and some people might be disturbed by the noise of the trains during the night - shutting the double-glazed window helped, but I preferred it open on a warm summer night.

Ulm is a small town and this hotel is only a few minutes walk from the station, and also from the old part of town where there are lots of good restauants. There is also a park nearby leading down to the Danube.

Breakfast consists of a few things bought at the supermarket. The rooms are not well acoustically insulated, one hears other guests, doors slamming, the street..

Hotel was 10 mins walk from Ulm railway station. My room was on 4th floor. There was a lift. Shared bathroom was clean and the room was basic. WiFi worked OK.

Soundproof is not good. We hear the neighbors very clear even when we use the provided earplugs.

It is a very basic but affordable and still comfortable accommodation. What else might be needed when a guest is stranded due to cancelled trains? Also nice - an option to book the hotel in the evening for a stay the same night!

The room window was open when we got there and the heater almost closed (it was set at level 1/5). The room got warm enough the next day only. The bathroom towels were not clean and we also found some dust traces on the pillows.

There is no closet for clothes, but just a rack for jackets. Parking places in front of the hotel can be crowded, but there is a garage behind the hotel.

Location close to city centre is fine. Beds are good size and comfortable, but pillows are really thin. Breakfast is good and there is a lot to choose from including a Greek flavour. Reception is friendly and helpful.

It was very noisy on one of the nights. There were guests partying on into the early hours of the morning in the hallway just outside our room. The other night was perfectly fine though.

Location. Big balcony. The staff were very accommodating. We got in late due to train strikes and there was someone there to greet us. There was a elevator.
