There’s no AC in the room They charge us additional cost 6€ while checking out telling us it’s a Tax for the government! There’s no Tea or coffee in the rooms and I asked for some tee at night but the Receptionist told me I have to pay for it anyway. 😅 The open buffet has no varieties, I had to ask them to cook me some Eggs for the breakfast so they can provide it. Eggs and some other food are not available for everyone on the buffet, you just have to ask for it.

The room was a bit outdated (CRT TV!), but it suited us just fine (and there aren't exactly new state-of-the-art hotels in Garmisch)

The reception and breakfast staff were all very friendly and acommadating. Immediately after checking in, my wife walked in with our baby and the lady at the front desk offered us a crib free of charge (we sometimes just have the baby in the bed with us), the crib was promptly delivered and set up in our room. The [included] breakfast is great with a variety of meats, cheeses, fruits, veggies, breads, yogurts, ect, and the staff was great as well, bringing us coffee & cooked eggs. Our baby made a mess and spilled on the table, but the kind lady couldn't care less, she just shrugged it off with a wave of her hand. There is a sauna, indoor swimming pool, and free parking in front of and in a lot somewhere behind the property. It's an easy 5 minute walk into town with plenty of grocery stores and restaurants everywhere.

The online pictures made the place seem as it was going to be a lot nicer. Some Clever photography made it to appear larger, fancier and in a different surrounding. Not in the middle of town. I will critique photos much more carefully in future bookings at other establishments. The underground parking garage is not good. Very steep and slippery driveway. Very small tight area to park. If it were busier that day, getting in and out without car damage would be a challenge. Rooms are ok, but very dated. One of our bathroom windows had no window shade for privacy from outside view , with an apartment building right across the street.

Very charming stay with quaint wooden interiors. The location is very close to the main station as well as from a walking distance from the city center. The breakfast was really good with several options to choose from. Extremely friendly staff especially the ones present during the day.

It is a property that allows dogs but they are allowed only in a small section of the restaurant (inner area with 2-3 tables). There are no signs that says it is forbidden in other parts - so you should expect somebody to come and kick you off to other table if you are with a dog.

It is clean and comfortable. Our room has a balcony with a great view.

Breakfast was great. Room was fantastic (we got a super and unexpected upgrade). Pool and Sauna facilities great. Tea in the afternoon was a perfect way to relax. Location is central. Staff friendly, helpful and interesting. What is not to like?

Everything was ok. Only the hairdryer was bad, it almost didn't work.

Fantastic hotel. One of the best I've been to. Friendly service, both upon arrival and at breakfast. The room was not spacious, but very well laid out, I especially liked the built-in sofa bed with a shelf along the entire length, comfortable. The view from the balcony to the mountains in the distance was great! Enjoy! The spa area was open until 8PM, but the pool could also be used at other times. It was very nice, because we often came back later from trips.

One thing I can’t find is that there’s no AC in the room. Right now it’s ok but in the summer it may be required. Also there is hardly any staff around just one at the reception. But that’s how it is in most European countries

I loved the location as it very central and walkable to everything around and the hotel also is cute. The view from my room was just out of the world. Loved it. I came here with not much expectation and was surprised with the view. I think it’s great that’s why I’m extending my stay here. I’m just wondering why it’s so quiet actually. It’s cute that all the staff seems to be senior citizens in their 70s and even 80s and are working even at this age, unlike what I’ve seen in India. I will post pics on my Instagram @namionthemove

Charming hotel in central location. Excellent breakfast, spacious room with a garden view, kind staff, overall good value. I will book again for our next trip.

My bathroom shower needed to be fixed. There was no way to keep water from getting on to the floor while in the shower. The railing in the shower was loose. The tub is too high up. Myself who is six feet, 72in had to which is very difficult to get in and out off when the floor is wet!

The hotel was in a great area. I was able to leave my car and walk around the whole city. In a timely manner.
