No air-conditioning. No fan. They had the towel warmer in the bathroom turned up really hot and it heated up the entire room, not just the bathroom. When I asked if it could be turned off, I was told no. I would prefer to have a top sheet on the bed so if the comforter makes you too hot you still have something to cover up with.. OH, and the room only had a bathtub, no stand up shower!!

The early morning garbage truck, which starts working on the street at 6 o'clock, will definitely make you awake, these containers were I think dragged along the street to make sure that the residents and guests of all the surrounding houses would wake up :) But it really was loud and disturbing.

The hotel itself is in a very cool historical building, the common areas on the first floor are spectacular and gorgeous, very stylish. The interior of the room has also been preserved, but it all seemed a bit outdated.. nothing was worn or broken, but it didn't feel fresh either, the spa part was also outdated and needed updating, but it was still very nice to hang out in the pool and sauna after a day of hiking . The location of the hotel is very good, restaurants and shopping within walking distance. A very pleasant and tasty breakfast. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful.

Housekeeping disregards do not disturb signs and enters rooms regardless. The hotel is showing some slight signs of age but nothing that would prevent a comfortable stay.

Very kind hosts and central location that is walkable to everything. The room was clean and comfortable and the pool and sauna are great. The breakfast was lovely with a buffet and hot items.

All that was needed was a hotel bar, and the outside of the balcony needed a lick of paint, but all very minor. Our stay was lovely

The location,I thought it was situated in the middle of the hill but it was in the middle of a residential area.

There’s no AC in the room They charge us additional cost 6€ while checking out telling us it’s a Tax for the government! There’s no Tea or coffee in the rooms and I asked for some tee at night but the Receptionist told me I have to pay for it anyway. 😅 The open buffet has no varieties, I had to ask them to cook me some Eggs for the breakfast so they can provide it. Eggs and some other food are not available for everyone on the buffet, you just have to ask for it.

The room was a bit outdated (CRT TV!), but it suited us just fine (and there aren't exactly new state-of-the-art hotels in Garmisch)

The reception and breakfast staff were all very friendly and acommadating. Immediately after checking in, my wife walked in with our baby and the lady at the front desk offered us a crib free of charge (we sometimes just have the baby in the bed with us), the crib was promptly delivered and set up in our room. The [included] breakfast is great with a variety of meats, cheeses, fruits, veggies, breads, yogurts, ect, and the staff was great as well, bringing us coffee & cooked eggs. Our baby made a mess and spilled on the table, but the kind lady couldn't care less, she just shrugged it off with a wave of her hand. There is a sauna, indoor swimming pool, and free parking in front of and in a lot somewhere behind the property. It's an easy 5 minute walk into town with plenty of grocery stores and restaurants everywhere.

The online pictures made the place seem as it was going to be a lot nicer. Some Clever photography made it to appear larger, fancier and in a different surrounding. Not in the middle of town. I will critique photos much more carefully in future bookings at other establishments. The underground parking garage is not good. Very steep and slippery driveway. Very small tight area to park. If it were busier that day, getting in and out without car damage would be a challenge. Rooms are ok, but very dated. One of our bathroom windows had no window shade for privacy from outside view , with an apartment building right across the street.

The breakfast was good, selection was good.
