Staff unfriendly/ unhelpful. Housekeeping was not as attentive as should be - toilet roll not refilled, tea/coffee not replaced. Bath didn’t work.

The Restaurant. Booked for a celebration, ended up in table for 4 (being 5), packed, with TV set on with football game. Bill was stratospheric for what we ordered, and for level of service one would expect from bistrot in a 5* hotel. My bad, I should have checked location/table before confirming my booking.

We gave feedback to you that our room hadnt been serviced properly when we arrived. The bathroom hadn't been stocked up with shampoo and conditioner and the pots in the room had obviously been used which was so disappointing for a five star hotel. Room service was prompt when we phoned to get this fixed. Also we didn't like the shower over the bath as this is a safety hazard. We would have preferred a room with a separate shower but were not offered this and didn't realise that our room had the shower over the bath. The depth of climbing over the bath into the shower and slipperyness to get out is a real problem.

Location so easy to walk to the Aldstadt and the river. Also liked the Terrace and Authors Bar. Room size was great too. Check out at 12pm was marvellous with our flights!

There was a loud "after work" programme with drinks with loud music at the front of the hotel when we arrived. We had to "push through" the people to get to the reception. They did disappear after 10.30 however.

This was a beautiful hotel in a central location. The breakfast menu was extensive and delicious. Staff were excellent. The room we had was brilliant. Plenty of space with a real feel of "luxury". This felt like an exceptional hotel.

There were water dropping from the ceil on second day and this Hotel served us a new room but nobody said any apology to our discomfort. But that's OK I thought at least we had a new room. But I found there was no shower gel in the new room. I asked 4 times to give me shower gel but they gave me hair shampoo 4 Times. And then I screamed out. "DO YOU SHOER YOUR BODY WITH HAIR SHAMPOO?" And then the replied answer was "we don't have any stock of shower gel" Is it possible? This hotel is 5 star hotel . And the important thing was nobody excused to us. Insane. Insane. I won't recommend this hotel to any of my colleagues at all.

The interior, like the lobby and corridors, is stuffy. The lighting is quite bad, with LEDs that flicker noticeably. Inside of the building, where our window was facing, was bitumen and pipes. It would be great to see some grass and tree which is not unheard of.

The bar was quite classy and pleasant. The room was comfortable, spacious and quiet. Room service ordered over a tablet is my first, and I liked it. The food was good. Breakfast ordered in the room was delicious and good enough for a day.

While i understand its a 5 star hotel and deservedly so , the prices in the bar were excessive (17 euro a wine , 7 euro a coffee). So its not possible to eat and drink at the hotel.

Hotel looks amazing, entrance has the wow factor... Staff were great , location was excellent.. U-Bahn is outside the door.. Shopping district is 5 minutes walk..

I couldn't say the same about the awkward interior design of the hotel corridors and room. The lights along the large corridors were dim and some lights were not switched on, looking a little eerie. The wooden cabinets and tables were awkwardly laid out along the corridors. Even though it was an upgraded room, the room decor and furnishing looked more like a wannabe luxurious hotel room with questionable choice of (or what it looks like) wood vinyl stick-on over the walls and bed/pillows/seats which lack comfort. I found strands of hair across the bed and towels upon checking into my room. The key card also repeatedly failed and had to go the reception desk to get it replaced. The shower room was large and had different light colours on automatic rotation, such as green, pink, blue etc - leaving me quite puzzled about the overall theme of the hotel.

Grand exterior facade with a rich heritage. Centrally located to places of interest and train station. The room was large and spacious.

The staff were exceptional. Efficient and helpful with every request. A waiter accidentally spilt coffee on my husband at breakfast, the laundry was paid for by the hotel. We were sent chocolates and cake and not charged for breakfast. They couldn’t have been nicer.
