The room smelled of cigarettes and on the wall next to the bed were yellow streaks of bodily fluids, not sure how it got there but you can use your imagination. The actual car parking in the hotel is super narrow and only has room for a few cars.

Great value for money, great price , good location free parking on the outside streets nearby but you might have to drive around a bit to find an open spot. Close to a supermarket that's open till midnight so you can get cheap snacks and drinks. lots of nice cafes nearby too and close to a train station.

The WiFi didn't work. The signal was no strong enough for the third floor. I need it to use at the reception, and I was not the only one. Personal at the reception could be nicer.

I chose it specifically because of the free car parking. Turns out they have only 3 parkings, and these were already taken. On street parkings also taken, so I parked in parking garage 500m away.

Hard to access the hotel with a push chair and luggage due to lots of steps. General decor in the communal areas was very out of date and really showing their age

Rooms were clean and fairly newly renovated. The beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly, particularly the gentleman with grey hair in a bun.

They ask 40 euros as deposit / guarantee for the key and TV remote. I left at 5 in the morning and there was no one in the reception so I was robbed of 40 euros.

The lady with “House keeping” came at 8 o clock and started being really loud on the flour. She wanted to clean our room but we didn’t answers as we were still sleeping. After that she just continued making a lot of noise for an hour.

My main complaint is that, upon arrival, I was asked to put down a €40 deposit which, whilst I did get it back upon check-out, I felt wasn't very clear during the booking process. The WiFi was also very temperamental and often went out for long periods of time. My only other small complaint is that I did notice some areas hadn't been dusted which triggered my allergies - namely, the lamp next to the bed had a layer of dust coating it. Other customers could be very noisy in the evenings.

Comfy beds in a central location with great subway connections. TV worked well and it was a safe place to unwind in the evenings. Good value for the price, the shower was spacious and worked well, and the staff spoke English. I found the staff to be well-natured too. REWE supermarket and other restaurants within close proximity to the hotel made getting fresh (cold!) food easy during the hot days despite the lack of fridge offered by the hotel. Will definitely consider Sophien Hotel for if I return to Frankfurt in the future.

It was okey, it was said that they had parking, but they only had 3 spaces. It was marketed that I had to reserve a parking space and when I contacted them they said that one was left free, but they cant reserve it. Also the parking was very narrow. The hotel was closed, so they had to unlock it 🤣
