A lovely small traditional room in the centre of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Breakfast was also lovely. Absolutely recommend.

the staff were extremely rude for no apparent reason. from the second we walked in, to the second we left. we decided against eating there for both dinner and breakfast because we wanted to spend the least amount time there as possible. overall, bad unwelcoming vibes. a hard pass.

The room was kind of damp (wet). There was just one window for two rooms. Kitchen personal was smoking outside behind the window, so we could not ventilate. Bathroom was rather shabby in comparison to the public one in the basement.

A large selection of food was attractively laid out for breakfast and constantly replenished. The hotel is in an ideal position for parking and for exploring the beautiful village. We ate at the hotel, both evenings and enjoyed the food and the interaction with staff. Would highly recommend a stay!

We had to wait for both check-in and check-out (by check-out we saw other people also waiting), since there was no dedicated personnel at the reception. Most disappointing is the cold face of the personnel (male) during check-in. We felt we were not welcome in the hotel, at the very first night of our holidays! Impatient to our questions (again with his cold face). Worst-ever service attitude we have ever experienced.

Good location, with walking distance to the center of Rothenburg. Paid public parking just before the hotel. Good breakfast.

Stayed at this hotel for one night in July 2022. Excellent hotel, conveniently located next to a central Parkplatz for parking. Check in was a breeze with a multi-lingual reception. I had a mobility impaired family member with me and the gentleman who checked me in quickly provided another room with easier access. Very accommodating. Dinner was delicious, wine was wonderful and breakfast was phenomenal (hot and cold food and great coffee). We sat outside on the patio for all meals and enjoyed the beautiful weather and views. Room was very spacious with the availability to open the windows to enjoy the cool weather. Highly recommend this hotel.

The staff was warm and welcoming. Bed was very comfortable and the room delightful. Great food and very close to the city wall. Easy walking distance to the main market square and all the best sights. Nice private parking for your car.

Very charming and unique experience. The hotel was only a few minutes walk to the town square. We made it just in time for the evening Night Watchman’s Tour which I definitely recommend! The staff at the hotel were very knowledgeable and helpful. The town itself is incredibly picturesque and filled with ages of energy.

We arrived late after a snowstorm, causing delayed safe drive. Evening manager was frustrated and scolded us for a late arrival. Room was small, beds small and hard, tiny bathroom.
