Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

A very good location. The hotel is pretty close to the subway station. You can order free coffee and tea between 2 pm and 8 pm. The room is nice and comfortable. The bathroom is tidy and clean

FinlandFloors were quite dusty in the room, even tough there was some cleaning done everyday. Linen and towels had some small holes and permanent? stains, that was disappointing.
Staff was friendly, room a bit bigger than we expected. Breakfast was good option in those days when we didn't want to go out first thing in the morning. Location is convienient, we travelled a lot with u-bahn.

100 m to the Nollendorfplatz metro station for U1, U2 and U3 lines, very quiet location, restaurants of different cuisines all around the neighborhood. Friendly staff, they even provided me a scale to weigh my luggages. Sparkling/still water dispenser available 7/24, free coffee in the afternoon.

United StatesThere were guests who were sneezing and coughing in the café area which is disturbing to American guests who are masking up with the current resurge of COVID in the USA. This is a metropolitan issue in Berlin and perhaps a national health issue with the relaxing of precautions there.
My experience at Hotel Sachsenhof couldn't have been better. Both of the gentlemen at the reception desk were very welcoming, informative and even humorous putting me right at ease. My room had a garden view and even an outdoor patio to sit and read. This hotel is close to a transportation hub, groceries, bistros, bars and nightlife. ++++ The breakfast service was exceptional offering delicious quality hot and cold foods that appeal to a variety of guests and diets. I recommend Hotel Sachsenhof without reservation (no pun intended).

My room had high ceilings, that created sense of space. The bathroom had a bathtub and looked amazing. The location of the hotel is the best: it is close to the bar area, but far enough no to hear noise, it super close to the metro and bus stations.
