We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Lovely, charming little place. Very conveniently located when travelling with a dog as there are green spaces located minutes away from the hotel. Our dinner was superb! Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Parking is free. The hotel owners should be proud of their front desk staff, especially the gentleman who checked us in. Very professional, attentive and friendly.

United StatesThe room had a toilet not in the bathroom. The toilet door opened from the bedroom. No fan. No privacy. There was no lift. Very small bedroom. No place to put your bag. The sheets were very worn, balled and scratchy.

NetherlandsThe towels were frayed, indicating a fair amount of use. Depending on your background, the breakfast may be great or mediocre. I can't say I was thrilled with the overwhelming focus on bread for breakfast.
It is located in a quiet little hamlet a little bit outside Hannover. It was decent value for money. The room was clean, though the decor was a bit dated.

LatviaMy reservation was confirmed by booking.com and 1h before arriving I received a message saying that they canceled. When I arrived, the hotel was closed. Lucky that there was a wedding on the building nearby (same owner) and they could call and someone came after 30 minutes. Otherwise I would be in trouble, and for that reason it is not serious. I even couldn't charge my EV card, because they switch off the system. They switch on the next day when I check-out, but I could not wait. The communication was really rude and you feel not welcome there. They even wanted to take a scan of your passport (EU citizen) which is not allowed in Germany. I won't be back for sure.
