Well equipped hotel with inside swimming pool on a very quiet location. Large rooms, very clean. Helpful people. Acceptable dinner and excellent breakfast. A pure 10.

I was a bit surprised that there was no jacuzzi, but then I found a very strong jet in the swimming pool and I was happy!

Beautiful inside out ♥️ The staff is dedicated and kind, the food delicious, the spa excellent with a large swimming pool. The room was perfect and everything was spotless. I applaud the cleaning staff because there is a lot of ground to cover and the cleanliness was truly exceptional. If I may suggest, it would be great to offer a dinner basket for guests who stay on Sunday nights and do not want to leave the hotel (the restaurant is closed).

Great location on hills above Rhein valley, very quiet and relaxing area nearby to Basel, Lorach, Rheinfelden. Family style hotel with perfect wellness facility and indoor swinmming pool, very good kitchen and nice and big open terrace with very nice view to Black Forrest. Roms are spay and renovated, most of them with balcony, best are on main buildings with Black Forrest view. Very nice, friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast and dinners, easy parking, nice starting point for bikers, very reasonable price compare to Swiss side of Rhein for exploring Basel and other Swiss cities nearby. And very nice coach museum on site, not so much promoted :-).

There is always a way to improve, keep on going to do a great job! I have none to my mind so far.

The hotel is located in a village area on a hill and has a superb views. The sauna area is brilliant as well! Overal feeling is like at home or coming home to old friends!

I was looking for a Wellness Spa Hotel for a weekend getaway for my husband's Birthday and I found this one. Everything was great we loved the Spa facilities and the restaurant food was delicious. Staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast in the morning had a variety to choose from. Any requests we had the staff would gladly provide us. We would come again in the Summer time. 👍

Watch out for the hot water dispenser in the spa. This caught us out since we were expecting to have cold water readily available as we came straight out of the sauna and not tea making facilities!

The staff on the reception, in the bar and in the restaurant (both in the evening and at breakfast) were really friendly and helpful. The spa was very nice with views of the surrounding countryside. We went for a walk up to the Hohe Flum Tower on the hill behind the hotel. This gave us great views of the Black Forest area. Other hotels we stayed at either put their spa in the basement or on the top floor so this was a lovely change. The food was excellent in the evening and so was the breakfast.

Overall perfect choice for both busienss and private stay. It was my several stay there and quality is always the same and perfect, what is sign of real quality. Beatifull place with nice view on Black Forrest, quiet village, comfort and spacy rooms, perfect wellness area and easy taking staff with privacy feeleings makes this place really amazing. Combination of tradition and perfect services is exceptional and even price is very reasonable taking into acount location close to Switzerland.

Parking was a few occasions very limited, and the space to park very small

The views were spectacular. The food was very good and the bed very comfortable.

Improvement suggestions: -Boost Wi-Fi in rooms (At least in my room, Wi-Fi connection was slow, even for simple tasks such as email, and unsuitable for visio-conferences - was on staycation. The hotel however gave me access to the business/conference center where the connection was better.) -Install fridges in rooms (None of our 3 rooms had a fridge, which limited our ability to cater for small lunches/dinners in the course of a 10-day stay.)

Swimming pool and wellness are great with 2 saunas including a deliciously hot one. Breakfast is a good and restaurant serves typical fare with a good price/quality ratio. Location is great with nearby fabulous hikes and vistas (car/public transport required) and close proximity to Basel. Staff is adorable.
