There was no room for us to have dinner in the restaurant when we arrived, it was not a problem as we walked into town and found something - but would be good to advise that booking is needed in advance.

No airco in the room made it quite hot, I had order a double bed but there were only 2 single beds, mattrasses were not very comfortable unfortunately.

The bathroom could use better ventilation. It’s got a big window, but even with it open while showering, the room still gets really steamy. Our room was on the ground floor, right in front of the outdoor smoking area. Every time we opened the door, we could really smell it. Luckily the smell didn’t come into the room. The room amenities were hidden in the closet, so we didn’t discover them until checkout.

The room and the bathroom were spacious. While the furniture may look old school, it was very well-maintained and very clean. The room is equipped with a mini kitchen, although we can’t find any kitchen equipment. Maybe you can request it from the receptionist. The staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was delicious. We noticed it was always packed at dinner time during our weekend stay. The breakfast buffet is amazing, a lot of choices and also some different homemade stuff every day.

Very funny but we needed 3 sleeping spots so we had a small room with a queen bed and a fold out, however the fold out was so close to the queen that you couldn't pass between beds to get to the window. - which I think had a balcony but there was no way to get there. If you did bother to climb over all the beds you couldn't open the door to go out. So we got the sleep we wanted but in a very cramped room.

this hotel reminds me of a resort hotel from my childhood. Even with the smell of chlorine cleaning materials, not in a bad way, just nostalgic. It was a comfortable hotel. The room was nice and modern the breakfast buffet had more than you usually see at other hotels. The staff did their best (although a bit chaotic) The hotel location was great too. you were in downtown within 5-10 minutes on foot.

Can’t think of anything I didn’t like!

I had a lovely room with spacious bathroom in this very clean, we-run hotel. My room had a small refrigerator, cooktop and bar sink, and I loved the little patio off the bedroom. All of the staff members are wonderful - we especially commend Bishnu who was always very patient with our questions! The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection - something for everyone. One night our large group ate in the hotel restaurant and everything was absolutely delicious! We also enjoyed our time spent in the hotel Biergarten. Also, the hotel is located within easy walking distance to Meppen’s main square.

The pillow were way too soft.....no support whatsoever. The walk-in shower staff could use some support handles as the floor was very, very slippery.

The staff is incredibly helpful, friendly and relaxed. The rooms are large and clean and modern.

We found the parking adequate but sometimes rather tight. However, that was scarcely a problem and we were so thankful that there was always a place and often near the door so our little child had not far to walk.

We were thrilled at the elegantly appointed room with such a lovely balcony and little touches like lights in the closet that automatically came on when one opened the doors. It was really a pleasant room and a wonderful stay. The breakfast is certainly 4-5 stars! Whether freshly baked gluten free bread, coffee selections and delicious juices, a wide array of meats, cheeses, warm and cold, healthy and tasty items - -the breakfast was indeed something to write home about!

Don't be surprised if you do not get the expected German-sized plates at dinner. However, the quality of the food truly compensates for the quantity.

A good hotel with friendly staff and a great breakfast in the morning. I've stayed in a nice modernized room facing the street. But you did not notice the traffic outside. In my eyes an ideal hotel to spent a night before continuing you journey the next day.

Towels was poor quality (thin and washed). There was a shortage of cosmetics(bo balm, no hair condition etc)
