We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

What a little gem of a Bed & Breakfast! A gracious, warm welcome and immaculate housekeeping, garaging for my motorcycle, a beer on the balcony overlooking the wooded Murg valley and with a busy little stream rushing down bside the house made for a truly relaxing stop. In the morning I enjoyed a good Black Forest breakfast. Well done!

United States of AmericaA little variety at breakfast would be nice, after 6 days it got a tad repetitive.
The owners made every effort for guests to feel welcome and at home. They provide several amenities to make the stay more comfortable, like the "library" of hiking / biking trail maps, the 24/7 coffee maker and a fridge that is always filled with a good selection of cold drinks. The beds are very comfortable and the bath is spacious and sparkling clean. We especially enjoyed the balcony and the rustling creek = best white noise ever.

United KingdomThe property is fine but it’s a very small village and we struggled to find anywhere to eat that wasn’t already booked. It is possible however to drive to baden-baden to dine and it’s not too far away.
Lovely comfortable room with a large balcony. The whole property is light and spacious. Breakfast is served in a pleasant room and food is very fresh. Our hosts were charming and helped everyone. All in all we liked our stay very much.

This is an absolute gem, run by a husband and wife team who are warm, welcoming, thoughtful and nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is spotless. The rooms are spacious and sensibly furnished, eg shelves in the wardrobe - not just a long rail for the 40 dresses you didn’t bring! The bathroom was roomy and well equipped. Our balcony enjoyed a view over the village and hills. The breakfast had everything one could imagine and could be had inside (with lit candle!) or on the terrace. A typically thoughtful touch: the butter pats floated in cold water instead of being encased in foil, beloved of the bean counters who run most hotels. There was a superb coffee machine one could help oneself to for free any time and a well stocked fridge for other drinks - honesty bar. Wifi worked well.

United States of AmericaThe owners are highly engaged and run an excellent hotel. The location and facilities are peaceful, quiet, and relaxing. Breakfast is outstanding. I highly recommend the optional evening dinner. The transit pass that comes along with staying in this hotel gives you access to nearly all buses and trains throughout the Black Forest.

United KingdomThis is a delightful small hotel in a quiet area of Forbach. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was varied and generous and can be taken on the terrace if desired. There is a pack lunch option for 7 euro which we took with us for the road and it was delicious. Free parking on site so a good choice if you are passing through the Black Forrest by car or bike.

Extremely friendly greeting from Slava on arrival. Genuine & chatty. Great location for Westweg walkers on the long climb out of Forbach. Room was large with a balcony and very large bathroom. Wi-fi solid as I had an hour long business zoom call to take with no issues.

United KingdomThe approach to the property for those on two wheels was challenging as the approach road is on a hill, roadworks were being undertaken which left slippery grit on the cobbles not a great combination some warning would have been welcome if the hosts were aware but maybe they weren’t aware of the challenge faced. pillows weren’t up to the standard of the rest of the hotel.
The property was spotless and the hosts very attentive. Nice breakfast and honesty bar a nice touch
