You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

FranceNo private parking although there are plenty of parking places at a short walking distance. You’ll need a parking disc. There are places where the disc is not needed a little further away (still reasonable distance - max 5 mins walk).
Perfect for a family. Family appartement was spacious with two separate bedrooms. Comfortable beds and quiet even though it’s right in the town center. Updated modern bedrooms and bathroom. Everything was very clean. Nice host, accommodated for a baby cot at a last minute request.

Well-located in the heart of Eltmann, where we found good restaurants for our evening meal and a pleasant conditorei for breakfast, though the Pension would willingly have arranged breakfast for us if we'd asked them to. A quiet location with modern interior decor and good facilities including a drinks fridge with 'honesty box' payment system. We arrived by bike and were able to lock these away securely overnight.

United StatesWe had a reservation with Pention Maintal Eltmann ( Booking.com. Confirmation: 3375826414). We arrived at 11 PM there . They message me that "I have put your room key in the key safe F , which is located in the entrance area. The number is 5566E." We tried over 10 times and the safe didn't open (I recorded it) . Even some of other guests tried to help , but it didn't open , called the number they provided , they didn't respond. This was a terrible experience . We had to pay 4 times more to find a room that late and drive over hour .

GermanyCheck out is at 11am. We had a knock on our door at 9am, which was odd. Thought it was the housekeeping, didn’t answer. They knocked again and that is when I answered. Whole family was still sleeping by the way. A older gentleman was at the door and said to pay now so he can leave. I couldn’t believe what he was saying. It was Sunday morning at 9am and check out wasn’t until 11am, which I told him and he confirmed it, but he wants to leave now. It was very weird and rude to just knock on our door like that and have us pay in that way.
It was a great hotel and very convenient with the key box to check in at anytime. We had a long day, due to a great wedding. Communication online for questions was answered immediately.
