Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The location was excellent. The beds offered comfort, and there was ample space within a single room.

CanadaTHE ROOM WAS ON THE FOURTH FLOOR. NO ELEVATOR. we are seniors and couldn't manage the suitcases up to the fourth floor. We got staff to help us, with the suitcases up. The next morning, the man wasn't available to help us down, so the cleaning lady helped us down the four flights of spiral staircase. Even so, without luggage, 4 flights of stairs were a challenge. The hotel and parking were a good block away from the office. That really wasn't a problem.
It was clean, modern . The beds were amazing. The bedding crisp, beautifully done. They had an amazing breakfast. The coffee was very good. A great cappuccino machine that we helped ourselves to. It's probably the best coffee for the price we had on our trip.

GermanyThe reception colluding speak English , it was a Schock for me. We had reserved a doubled-bed room but when we arrived they told that there is no empty doubled-room and give us a twin , there was no electronic kettle and even a bottle of water in the refrigerator🫤🤦♀️, no tissue at the room just in toilet . This hotel will not be my choice anymore.
It was so clean and spacious .there was an air conditioner which made our stay more comfortable .other positive points were location and safety box.

Close to many shops and city centre, automated check-in. Could park infront of pension, but it's paid parking and is available only few hours a day. Rooms look exactly as on pictures. Theres a restaurant or two nearby.

SpainFirst they tell you to check in on one street, than you have to call the property to learn that it is on another one. Our room was on the 5th floor - no lift, no air conditioning, no micro, no hot water to make a tea :(((( We have run out of hot water in the shower , so the last person could not shower 🤦🏼♀️

UkraineI expect a little more support from stuff to show where is the pension with rooms and which is my room number, I've got it from third time.
Everything went well. Room was good, clean and comfortable, many towels and good soap and shampoo. Easy system with cards and doors. When you finished your stay - just drop your card from door in the post-box near entrance to pension.

The self check in did not work, so went in reception and the person there was very friendly. I had to go to the other building which was first hard to find because I'm not knowing the area ( should have to be shown), but other than that, it was everything perfect.
