They could have provided some comfortable chairs to relax on in what was a very pleasant garden.

The staff were great. I was upgraded to a suite, they were always helpful and supportive. The hotel was based in exactly the right place for visiting the Ruhr area.

The hotel is surrounded by a business park.

The hotel is a great example of a stylish renovation of a historic building with all modern conveniences. Our daughters had a suite in the attic of the old building, which was all beams and sloping ceilings. We had a generous suite in the modern annexe. The staff were super nice. We loved our late breakfasts on the balcony at the back of house.

It's not in a park but on a business park! The hotel itself is a bit of a labyrinth, but it is cosy and done in style. But don't think you can go for a walk in the park.

Very cosy hotel, with a great entrance. The sauna is great with a very nice relaxing space, but don't forget to ask the reception to switch on the sauna.

Very nice old house, but the room was tastefully arranged in a modern style. My room was next to the main entrance so I was a bit concerned for noise of people coming and going, but I didn't notice it at all. Very nice restaurant, had an excellent dinner. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Have no negatives from my stay - everything was great.

Customer service during my stay was personal and friendly from start to finish. Room quality and cleanliness was exceptional. I stayed for 4 nights and the room was thoroughly cleaned and left like new every day. Really enjoyed dinner and breakfast in the restaurant.

The facilities and the staff where amazing. A proffessional, friendly and home like atmosphere. The service was very good. The food in the restaurant tasted very nice and the bar had an excellent selection. Highly recomend this hotel!

It can be noisy as the hotel is surrounded by industrial units, so heavy goods vehicles run from the early hours. Closing the windows eliminated the noise, unfortunately the A/C is just as noisy!

Really helpful staff who conversed in English when asked asked. The spa is terrific. The dinner and breakfast are excellent.

The location is quite far from the center, but if you want to have silence and nature around, is the perfect place for you.

Nothing that I did not like, I had a great room with a bath and my colleague was upgraded to a room that looked like a cave (room 16) and he loved it.

This was the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. The room cleaners were excellent and very thorough. The room smelt lovely when I came in every day. The breakfast had a great continental variety. The staff were all very nice and helpful and arranged a taxi for me to the airport.

The hotel was full and the breakfast space wasn't big enough so we needed to scedchual breakfast time in advance.

We took 7 rooms each room was different. Everybody said the beds were Very comfortable Very nice view for breakfast Very nice breakfast

Location on an industrial estate is a bit weird, once inside that becomes irrelevant. Limited menu in restaurant fx choice of dessert was ice cream only.

Very well maintained grand house. Excellent room/bathroom. Super breakfast. Tasty dinner in nice ambient room. Friendly helpful staff.
