Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesThe double room was about as small as a double should be. Unfortunately, my wife didn't find the pillows comfortable. Kind of a personal assessment, but it prevented her from some restful sleep. We missed having a refrigerator in the room.
Although the room was small, it was adequate, clean and cozy. The location was very convenient for sight seeing, and we found some inexpensive street parking. The lobby had a very modern ambiance with a bar and breakfast area. On Saturday night the lounge area was quite full.

The location was perfect, very central between the 'old city' and the 'new city' of Dresden. Also when travelling by car, they got a nearby parking place as the garage of the hotel was full when I arrived.

GermanyMy bed was not very clean. There were A LOT of what looked like dog hairs all over the top half of the bed on and around the pillows. I was too tired to complain so I just slept on the foot side with the cleanest pillow. The bathroom maybe hadn't been used in a while, because the typical sewage smell was coming up from the pipes. (That typical smell when they dry out and you run water for the first time). I wish I had said something about the hair, but I was really too exhausted after a terrible day. Other than that everything was fine.
Very friendly Staff, easy check in, lots of great breakfast Options for someone with a dairy allergy! Vegan yogurt, cold cuts, etc. Bed was comfortable.

Slovakia- nothing to complaint about :-) - only have one request / suggestion: Can a maintenance person please check on the air conditioning in the room we had on the second floor? It was making strange rattling noises and the metal panels on the ceiling were moving when it was running. (The AC on the third floor was working perfectly)
- we (a group of 3 people) booked two rooms at Motel one and were very satisfied - quiet location near the city center - multiple bus and tram stops nearby - very clean rooms, I always feel comfortable at Motel One because the cleaning standard is as it should be. Spotless and hygienic - staff is very friendly and competent, they always greet you with a smile and are happy to answer your questions - beds are perfectly comfortable, soft but firm enough to provide good support for your back - multiple pillows provided - spacious shower - all in all it was a great stay, we enjoyed it very much
