The breakfast included a wide variety of meats, cheeses, a huge basket of freshly baked bread (they have a bakery and the breakfast area is there. Also had fresh fruit, cucumbers, tomatoes real soft h boiled egg . All beautifully presented . The Maase family do a great job , and Mrs Maase is a gracious host . I have stayed here for 26 years , so I know the place well . There is a lounge area with stocked with snacks, beer . Wine etc. very nice back patio and nice sauna.

Parking was a bit stressful, albeit unbeknown to us the town was busy with a wine festival so much busier than normal.

The staff were excellent, rooms were perfect, and the cake shop cafe was wonderful, the cakes were fantastic 10/10. the continental breakfast was excellent and the staff spoke English. the main thing for us was the safe and secure parking for our 2 motorcycles which was much appreciated. Thank you

The breakfast was excellent and we were able to make delicious filled rolls for our onward journey. Bags supplied at the breakfast table. The hosts were warm and welcoming. Parking was part of the hotel and felt very safe.

Lovely spacious room, plenty of space for a family of 4 and a dog. The host even provided dog bowls. Great comfy beds & clean. Outdoor space overlooking the castle. The breakfast in the bakery was fantastic. Fresh breads, meats, fruit, cheeses, hot chocolate, coffee. A real feast.

I have been hiking Rheinsteig and by far this was the best place I stayed in Florian greeted me and checked me in the room was spacious and extremely clean with a very good quality and comfortable bed It was a outside sitting area to sit and listen to water running from a fountain Breakfast was excellent, Andrea welcomed me in cafe and I have to say she is an amazing person All in all I recommend this place strongly

Everything was charming.

Lovely little hotel. Unbelievably clean and neat. Close to the railway station. Florian, breakfast waiter in the cafe (which serves as the breakfast room) was charming and very obliging. Wish I could have stayed in the area for a couple of days longer it was so nice.

It wasn’t a particularly warm weekend but I expect the room could be quite hot in high summer. Although the bed was really large and comfortable, it was a bit creaky! But these small negatives didn’t spoil our stay at all.

Our triple room was really spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The enclosed garden was wonderful and much appreciated by our dog! The host is so welcoming and breakfast in the next-door bakery was amazing. The village is fairly small and quiet but there are a couple of really nice restaurants, and there is a great bar just a short walk away on the river.

Friendly helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Personal touch at breakfast time is lovely, plentiful amount of food and if you don't eat it all you can pack up and take with you, which is great for cyclists or a journey home. Great bar situated on the Rhine a short distance away, easy walk to Marksburg Castle from the hotel. A few good restaurants within walking distance. Boppard river ferry is a short distance away for days out. Recommend asking for a quiet room as you can hear traffic noise at the front of the hotel.

very welcoming owner in a family own business. very complete breakfast and hotel is very close by to all the main attractions of the region … we have also enjoyed the visit of the castle. the room was very clean
