The pricing in the restaurant for the evening meal seemed to be totally over priced in some areas. Close to 30 euros for fish or a meat course and 12 euros for apple strudel is way off where it should be and certainly would affect people’s decision to eat there.

I ended up staying at Limmerhof last minute. I did not use the facilities. Breakfast buffet was a bit limited. The Hotel is a quaint "time-capsule" of the 1990's/early 2000's

Nice spacious very clean room with good mattress. Good Landgasthof-style restaurant with traditional Bavarian dishes (difficult for vegans!). Many travelling business people staying at the hotel during the week.

- mosquitoes in the room (mine was 21) - child bed was requested which they produced somehow, sure it was not clean enough, it contained some insects (child could not sleep in it due to itching) - two single beds instead of one double bed (was not suitable for me) - energy sources not sustainable (no solar) - electric car charging wished and is not available - breakfast did contain 5 types of meat but did not contain any fish - coffee machines located each corner but were turned off (or all were out of order if not intentionally turned off).

The breakfast was good, but they did not refill everything when it ran out. If you arrived late, your choices were limited. And you couldn't just get your own coffee, but had to wait for the somewhat grumpy server to bring you a pot. The tub is very slippery, but the water is nice and hot! They make the beds daily, but that's about all the cleaning I noticed. The in-room fridges were not operable.

The front desk staff were very helpful and kind. Most could speak English. The room had lots of storage space. There is an elevator and free parking! The walk to the train station is not bad at all. It was nice to have a dinner option in the hotel because other options are at least 0.3 mile away. There are common spaces available to hang out with friends.

Clean up thorn bushes in the parking area. Makes it hard to park close to walls and even harder to get in and out of hatch when getting suitcase out.

Breakfast was outstanding. Quantity and quality. Waitress was a bit stressed as she was serving 15 tables by herself. Checked in a bit late but staff was eager to set me up with a nice dinner. Will definitely stay here again.

The breakfast could have been more fresh, but it was fine and nice that it was included in the stay so that we didn’t have to make another stop before continuing our trip towards Italy.

Lovely, spacious room, possible to make a reservation and check in in the middle of the night (we arrived at 2 am with our sleeping 2 year old daughter) when we were just passing through on our way from Denmark going to the Grada Lake in Italy. The staff at the reception was so welcoming and friendly - both day and night (: Nice and clean, easy parking just in front of the entrance.

After check-in, we went to the room to discover it was already occupied. Not sure who was surprised the most: my wife or the naked man lying on the bed. After being given a different room, thhere was no kettle (despite an email confirming the request). Perhaps the naked man had it in his room. Eventually we received a kettle. However the fridge did not work. This was reported to reception immediately and again the following morning. The response was that it would be unlikely to be resolved as it was the weekend. The hotel details states the room had a minibar. This was never available or offered. Breakfast was simple but not extensive. Very basic continental style. I had lived in the area previously (moved away 10 years ago after 13 years in the area). The hotel had always had a very good/excellent reputation. I have attended functions at the hotel: all excellent quality. Sadly the hotel did not live up the expectations from previous excellent experiences.

I can’t fault the hotel and staff in any way.

We stopped here for a night on the way to Italy. Last minute booking was no problem. Check in procedure was fast and efficient. We were late and just wanted a drink and a snack. There were no snacks, but we did have a few drinks in the cosy bar. The staff and owner were very nice people, very friendly and helpful. The room was nice, comfortable and very clean. There was no negative thing to be found. Breakfast was fresh and sufficient and was in balance with the price. The location was good. Close to the motorway. A nice small village. This would also be a great place for a longer period and explore Munich and surrounding area.

Carpets were shabby, towels torn, equipment in the bathroom quite old, not what is expected from 4 star hotel.

The location is nice, with special atmospehere, looks like a good place to have dinner at but we arrived too late for that. Very friendly and helpful staff

While we truly appreciated our stay at your hotel, there are a few areas that, if addressed, could significantly enhance the overall experience for your guests. Primarily, the cleanliness of the room was not up to par. We found ourselves compelled to do a bit of dusting upon arrival, and the state of the bathroom necessitated a more thorough cleaning on our part, which required both time and disinfecting wipes. This situation is far from ideal for guests seeking a comfortable and hygienic environment. Moreover, it became evident that the room could benefit from a thoughtful renovation and some necessary repairs. This left us with an impression of your rates being somewhat excessive for the value received. A bit of a refreshment in terms of decor and amenities could go a long way in justifying the cost and ensuring guest satisfaction. Lastly, while the absence of a water kettle in the room was a minor inconvenience, the solution provided - hot water in an old coffee pot - did not meet our expectations. The water carried a lingering taste of old coffee, which detracted from its enjoyment. While we raise these points as areas for improvement, we hope they will be taken in the spirit of constructive feedback, aimed at elevating the quality of the guest experience at your establishment. We believe these enhancements would undoubtedly solidify your reputation as a hotel that genuinely caters to the needs of its guests.

We deeply appreciated the hotel's policy of accommodating cats. Assuredly, we accept full responsibility for our pets, ensuring they will not cause any harm to the hotel room. Our cats have been diligently trained to use the litter box for their needs, never left unattended in the room. Instead, they are briefly housed in a dedicated animal tent when necessary. Furthermore, we make it a point to safeguard the hotel furniture by using protective blankets. Despite this level of care, many pet-friendly hotels do not extend their policy to cats. Hence, it was truly refreshing to find this hotel so open to our feline companions. The staff were a delight to interact with. In particular, the hotel manager proved to be exceedingly courteous and personable, adding a delightful dimension to our stay. All in all, our interactions with the hotel staff were an absolute pleasure.

We chose this Hotel to get away from the tourist crowd. The hotel was exceptional from the moment we entered the lobby. We were able to experience normal/daily activities. The hotel had an extremely nice restaurant that the locals used, and had a nice selection of German meals.We were within walking distance of a rustic gasthaus that served excellent food, with very reasonable pricing. We had a very rich and rewarding stay here.

The only issue is without a car it is a bit of a walk for some from the train.
