Water pressure in the shower was nonexistent

Clean beds and bathroom with WiFi that worked well. Breakfast was decent and included in the price. Rooms are quiet and hotel is located right next to the train station. Nothing too special, but was comfortable and a good value.

Nice country hotel near-ish the A40. Free parking and free breakfast. Good beer garden and restaurant. All at a very competitive price.

Curtains and net curtains have a few holes in, the pillows are too soft, the church clock chimes every 15 minutes and in the morning the cockerel made himself known but other than these small things it was ok for the one night

The bed was ok but pillows were too soft, the staff were friendly when getting the key and for breakfast, plus there was a party in the bar area on the Saturday evening which they said we could join in, we had a walk around Nuekerken and nice pretty extremely clean area

One of the beds needed to be updated... leather was worn on the side from people sitting on the edge. Also no 'AC (Klima) .. we could have used a fan.

The staff answered all of our questions and accommodated our special requests. Family run business with a an excellent regional kitchen, good parking lot and direct on the train line to Weeze ( Parookaville). We hope to come again next year!

Good value country hotel in the lovely town of Kerken near the Dutch German border. Lovely beer garden and very good food and drink. Breakfast included. Tea coffee in the room. Have stayed a few times now when we drive across Europe. Free carpark.

Restaurant closed for 2 of the 3 days of my stay and I don’t know in advance. The pillow was poor, but luckily I carry one of my own.

People should know that some rooms can be two floors up. Ok for us but maybe difficult if one has more luggage.

Room was a bit outdated and there was no sitting area in the room although the room was big and could easily accommodate a sofa and/or a couple of chairs. It was hot, but so was everywhere else.

Staff was very forthcoming and breakfast was great. Special kudos to the zander filet.

Pillows could have been harder. Powdered milk in the room for tea/coffee; I would have preferred UHT milk.

Breakfast was good with fresh rolls and a choice of meats, cheeses, jams and yoghurts. English tea was good. Evening meal was very good. Free car park. Friendly staff.

Very clean hotel. Our room was spacious and had a sizeable private bathroom. Free hotel car-park just across the road. Breakfast: good quality and adequate choice. We spent 3 nights here and found it comfortable and quiet. Kerken has all necessary amenities: bank, shops, restaurants, cafés. Would use this hotel again.

Rooms need some maintainance, staff smoking outside kitchen, could smell it in the breakfast room.

Level of lighting in the restaurant, too gloomy. Bedside light not easy to operate, no explanation or instructions. Pillows could be improved.

The shower in our room wasn't worth using; very low water pressure and no hot water.

All staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was very clean. The food from the restaurant was excellent: a really lovely place to eat.

Fruit flies coming out from the breakfast buffet and common house flies hovering around in the bar area worse than sitting outside in the garden on a sunny day next to a farm. A fly killer unit might do wonders there.
