The property is perfect if you plan a relax holiday. The public transport is limited but available near the second hotel with bus 839. The views are absolutely beautiful and you will feel refreshed. The breakfast was good and with good options and the standout was a cute pancake machine.

During weekends, rotation of buses at the nearest bus stop going to Hbf is very limited: around every 2 to 3 hours

Perfect for group travellers. With breakfast included, everyone's gonna be ready for the busy adventures of the day. Wifi is very handy, but I wasn't able to test the speed or stability since I have my own mobile internet.

There is an irregular and time-limited bus schedule from pick up and going to city center and central station. Socket for charging is not available for every bed so you need to take turns when charging.

The hostel is located near the hiking spots with a view of Watzmann. Breakfast is included on your stay

The facility is extremely well equipped, maintained and managed. It’s a great place to stay for friends, family gatherings.

It was more like a school facility than a cosy hostel. Dinner and breakfast were similar to school food.

Clean and a lot of space. Beautiful location surrounded by mountains. Possible to spot the Eagle’s nest from the window.

The door for every room didn’t have any lock but you can lock the locker in your room. If you are traveling to here on your own and get here at night after five then you need to consider to take a taxi or walk to the hotel (in winter) if you are walking you need to walk a big slope to get there(around 20–30 minute walk for the slope) There is no WiFi in the room only in the lobby.

The staff is really nice he told me a lot of things everything is nice there. The dinner is great if you don’t what to eat maybe you can try it (10.5€)

At dinner time there wasn't any meat available when I got there, so some advice for others staying there, wanting to get food at dinner time... Wait for a few mins until they replace it, or try and go there early once it opens, so that all the meat isn't gone. There are buses that go to the city center, however mostly I got taxis, which cost around 8 euro to get to and from the train station.

It is a very large hostel in the area. There were groups of school children while I was staying there. The dining room downstairs is massive, catering for dinner for everyone in the evenings. The view at the back is pretty cool with the looming mountains in the background.

Nice hostel, clean room and breakfast included. The hostel is located at a very nice scenery place. Staffs are friendly. I love this hostel very much!

- Mendatory hostel membership for each guests with an additional fee of 22 euros/year. - No WiFi connection for guests. - No soap facilities in the bathroom.

- The hotel location is only 15 minutes away from Königssee and the nearest train station (Berchtesgaden Hbf). - Excellent buffet breakfast. - Free bike parking.

it is all up to luck on the dorm mates that you get in the 8pax dorm. good luck having a quiet night sleep if you have multiple loud snoring dorm mates

2 night stay with excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner that are included in the price of the stay. beds are comfortable enough in the 8pax dorm. Working hot water shower that is very nice to have.

The kitchen did have a stove, but unfortunately, it wasn't working. I also couldn't find a microwave.

The staff was helpful and kind. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. The beds were comfortable and the lockers were spacious. Everything was clean.

The breakfast - there are many people in this hostel, so it is a little bit crowded and if you come too late (15 minutes before closing), there is no food for you anymore.

The room was amazing - so clean and nice, also quite big. The location is perfect - we came from Eagel Nest and went to Salzburg. It is really nice and quiet (I can imagine staying there for a few more days). The staff was really nice. You can drink coffee in the garden, which is really nice.

Group of school kids there and they were SO loud and annoying late night and early morning. Also didn’t get offered bus cards so wasted lots of money on that

Fairly long walk from the town center Booking.com should mention with the DJH offerings that a membership with the DJH is required at an additional cost
