Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

LuxembourgThe room seemed to not have been cleaned. The sheets had man hairs in the middle of the bed ( I am a female travelling alone) same with the shower. The room is a bit small for the price and the AC
The breakfast was plenty. There were all kinds of coffee provided. Juice pastries fruit and vegetables. Eggs were also available in some varieties premade. Train station is right there and walking to altstadt is not too bad. Plenty of bus stops and a cafe nearby. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They were fixing the lift and the staff fixing it was equally friendly and apologetic

GermanySome rooms face onto a fairly major road so may not be ideal if you’re a light sleeper and like to sleep with the window open. The compensation for that (at least from the room I was in!) is a view of the Rhine, so it’s a case of priorities.
Well located - an easy 10 min walk along the river to the centre of the Altstadt, very helpful staff, scrupulously clean, with a comfortable bed and excellent water oresssure in the shower. Good breakfast - the waffle maker is a nice touch.

Germanyibis rooms are pretty small, so if guests use this as economic sleepover location near the airport, luggage may use a big part of the room. Also, in typical ibis fashion, the shower heads may be sketchy.
Typical ibis comfort, near a train station, close enough to restaurants in the old town. Quiet. Great sleepover location around flights from FRA, especially when Frankfurt hotels are overbooked and overpriced. I believe there was a luggage storage at the lobby.

HungaryThe room was a bit small but cozy. However, we would have liked two chairs, but there was only one in the room. The bed was too soft for us.
The hotel is in an excellent location. Attractions, shops and restaurants can be reached on foot in a few minutes. The room was very clean.

GermanyThe room, with the cot inside, was a little small - but this is really only a minor criticism, as the value for money was great.
The staff were extremely helpful and we were able to check in 3 hours early, so that our 2 year old could take a nap. This was really helpful, and we found the stay very comfortable, with an excellent breakfast, and a really great location. Excellent value for money.

NetherlandsOverall, everything was clean. However, the bathroom could use some attention. The shower head showed signs of lime, and so did the tiles in the shower cabin. Two corners of the shower cabine showed first signs of fungus. the sealing should be replaced. My interpretation is that the cleaning staff could be more thorough and pay more attention to the shower cabins. The rest of the bath and bedroom were excellently clean and well in order.
the location was excellent for me; staff was VERY friendly, helpful, and supportive. The parking garage is a bit tricky (one needs to ring a bell for opening, the speaker seemed defect; but even that worked out well in the end.). The room was well lit and distributed intentionally. There was plenty of space to store clothes with many hooks and surfaces (loved it!). The mattress was firm, pillows well selected. There were 4+ wall plugs some of which had USB ports. The room was quiet and had a double door to the corridor. Breakfast offered a sufficient selection to satisfy this flexitarian tea drinker. Everything was fresh.

Germany- The breakfast was not worth the price at all. We took it because we needed that day (had an important meeting early in the morning and couldn't go out to explore the surrounding in the search for a coffee). We paid 30 EUR for two people for a single day of breakfast and it was nothing surprising: Croissant, coffee machine, some cheese and salamis, pancackes, but that was it. Across the street you have a Rewe and just before its entrace, from the inside of the passage, a "Die Lohners" where you can get 2 big Cappuccinos, a big croissant with chocolate and a Schokobrötchen, all for 10 EUR and enjoy eating with the view or Rhein sitting on the stairs or in one of the many benches. - Speaking of Rewe, it's a good alternative to buy some cheap salad or something like, but be aware that the rooms have no fridge! It's not that it's not empty, there isn't one at all. Was a bit surprising and dissapointing for us since we like to get some juice and food from the supermarket and often there are left overs which we save it for later in the fridge. Here though we couldn't. - There is no electric kettle as well. We asked for the staff for hot water which they promply provided to us, but still would be a nice cheap addition since you can buy your tee sacks in Rewe and enjoy a tee at your room before sleeping. - The towels were really cheap. I ended up tearing one appart just trying to dry my back. There's also no towel for hands and face, the same towel for the shower is the one you have to use, which is ok-ish, but that could have been provided. The save water thing of not choosing to wash your towels also didn't work. We left our towels hanging outside the shower as instructed by the sign, and yet we found that our towels were always changed.
- Keep in mind that my 7 is considering that this is a 2 stars hotel. The staff was pretty nice all the time, although some made us fell more comfortable than others, in general the interaction was fine and they were all very helpful. The rooms are small but the bed is very comfortable. There is an extra pillow if you need a harder one, there is AC although the temperature cannot be controlled and the bathroom didn't smell or anything (I've stayed on said 3 and 4 star hotels that on opening the water tap an awful smell make from it, this here though is nothing like that and is very clean. - Also the TV was quite good, although no SmartTV or anything like that. The shower was very good too. What we were extremely happy was with the sound isolation. With exception of a single moment that someone decided to make a lot of noise 7 AM, it was silent for the rest of the time! - The price is decent. For a 24/7 front desk that we needed and for the location, it was really worth it. - The location is awesome. From Frankfurt Airport you can take S8 to Römisches Theater and you'll arrive just a block from the hotel. Then to visit the city downtown you can take almost any bus in Rheinstraße, or if you need to go uphill, there is a stop near the Römisches Theater. There is avery good restaurant named Beviamo, just across the Rheinstraße, near the river. One of the best pizzas with Mozzarella di Buffala I've eaten and very nice service as well.
