Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyIncluded breakfast did not include lactose free milk (we did not ask for it, though)
Spacious room, comfy beds and very clean. Breakfast included nice rolls, selection of cheese and sausages, cereals. Walking distance to the city center, although it is a bit of a stretch. Very helpful and friendly staff.

NetherlandsIs a small beautiful hotel and very well maintained. The location is great because it is in the middle of an island surrounded by gardens and you can take a little ferry boat to get you to the shore and the center.

BelgiumIt was very quiet in the hotel. The walls between the rooms seem to be quite thin. We heard someone sneezing at night, but apart from that there was no noise at all.
The breakfast was delicious and sufficient. We had breakkfast quite late, but the staff was so kind to prepare an extra portion of bacon and egg for us. Delicious, friendly and cheap restaurant next door in a very green area. Beach at the riverbanks nearby.

NetherlandsThere is no airconditioning. That itself is not an issue, but then waking up later is hardly possible because of the sounds from outside through the windows that need to stay open. All the 3 of us scratched ourselves on metal corners of the main bed (no lasting injury). The hotel is not location very close to public transport.
The hotel is nicely finished, with a modern sound system that also can sound in the bathroom, and there is a big television. The nice staff do their best to make you feel welcome. The breakfast is good with fresh rolls. The hotel is located in a relaxing area, still within walking distance from the city center. The hotel has a locked car park for your car (8 euros per day).

BelgiumI don't know what it was but there was a subtle smell in our bedroom. An unfresh smell like a stale scent of an unventilated or dusty room except it wasn't dusty. Maybe they just need to ventilate the room before the guests check in. I couldn't sleep well because of that odor. Aside from that, the rest is perfect.
The breakfast was good, the room was comfortable and clean, it was an ideal location because it wasn't too busy in that area. The parking was also cheap (only 8 euro/day) but what i love the most is that it's possible to check in online and arrive very late (2 AM in my case) since you get a code to get your key.

BelgiumIt said pet friendly, but when we informed we were coming with our cat, we first got the notification that this was not going to be possible and we should cancel our booking. This was clarified on the spot, as long as we took care our cat would hang in the curtains or scratch the furniture (they have had some bad experiences with this), which was never a problem for our cat. But this type of confusion is preferably not made the day prior to arrival, slightly concerning. Thank you for keeping this in mind with future travellers.
Friendly service, good breakfast, kids friendly, cozy location close to waterside + park to go for walks or the ferry crossing. Easy parking accessible + explanations.

United KingdomWe have stayed here before. Excellent, friendly hotel with a superb breakfast included. Although located in a quiet position on an "island" in the River Weser, it is a fairly short walk to the centre of Bremen - either by the road or using the wee ferry. There are also two river beaches nearby for sun and swimming if that interests you. Our room was large and bright with large window and very comfortable.

SwedenWe stayed in a comfort room, which was nice and big. We really liked the bathroom which was very modern and had a little built in speaker, so we could listen to the radio while being in the bathroom. Another highlight were the lights under the bed which go on when you need to get out of the bed during the night. The wardrobe was equipped with lights as well, which is very handy when you open the safe or looking for something. The breakfast was very yummy and had a nice selection of food to choose from. The staff was very kind, thoughtful and helpful. The hotel is situated in a nice and quiet location, which is very close to the city centre of Bremen. We walked around 20 minutes to get there.

NorwayWe stayed here for one night. This was a very nice place. Clean, comfortable, good breakfast and friendly staff is situated outside the city center, but within a short walking distance from a small ferry that can take you to the other side, close to the Hanseatic Bremen. They also have an enclosed, outdoor parking area, which was important to us. We can warmly recommend this place.

Greecereception closes at 9pm, it's a bit early, especially in the spring/summer period. you have to walk for at least 20-25 min to reach the center and the closest tram line is a 15-20 min walk

A small and cozy hotel in beautiful surroundings and in walking distance from the city centre. Everything was fine, I would stay anytime again. The staff running the place are very nice and helpful people. There's parking on site. The hotel is in a middle of a small-gardens area, so everything is green, colourful and quiet.
