Though spotless as far as cleanliness is concerned, the rooms and bathrooms have seen better days.

Situated near a main road to Munich in a quiet place, well away from traffic, the Hotel Wirt provided the last resort accommodation on a week night when Munich was busy on account of football. A decent-sized room facing a nice garden with a seating area plus an in-house taverna providing delicious Bavarian food at very generous portions and local beer. Obviously popular with lots of evening guests but still quiet at night! Highly recommended.

The food for breakfast and dinner felt outdated. Dinner in the restaurant was only deep fried food and a very sad green sallad. The breakfast table also felt very simplistic compared to the price of the venue.

Ordered a snitzel in the restaurant for diner. The veal meat simply did not smell well. And taste was not good (probably old meat / not fresh). For us no problem, it can happen. However: We indicated it to the servant (in a nice way). We even felt a bit guilty for telling it. But he took it back and told us my girlfriend would get a new piece. After some minutes she got the plate back. With the very same piece of meat on the plate. It still smelt the same funny way. Servant however insisted that it was a new piece of meat. After that, servant was ignorant and blunt. We just paid and left the restaurant.

Very grateful for a room with two sigle beds. The staff at this hotel is very nice and helpfull. Parking outside, everything clean. Over all very pleasant stay.

Lovely hotel with very clean and comfortable rooms. The hotel is in a small village location with very good facilities. There is a restaurant on site with a good selection of food on the menu. The hotel has a lovely beer garden which offered a very relaxing evening after a long drive

This is not a criticism but it may be useful to know in advance that the restaurant is a separate operation from the hotel - meals, drinks need to be paid as consumed though cards are accepted. Breakfast coffee was only adequate.

Spacious, comfortable room which remained cool despite sunny days. Breakfast was a little restricted, probably due to Covid, but perfectly acceptable though no hot dishes (at least for the moment). Food was of a good standard in the German/Bavarian manner. Fish was limited to a single dish - salmon. Wine was fairly priced by the glass and more than acceptable.

Driving after a long drive it was nice to be welcomed with a friendly smile, and able to get a cold local beer. This was our second visit to the establishmant. You have to remember this is a traditional Bavarian guesthouse, not a modern hotel. I have no negatives as it was what I expected when I booked.
