To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The Hotel is right at the S Bahn Wannsee stop and there are places to eat and drink in the near. The receptionist was kind.

New ZealandBathrooms were on the small side and some lightbulbs needed replacing. There was a kettle but no tea bags or coffee sachets, only one drinking glass. So, on this front - the little things that make a stay more comfortable - there is room for improvement. While there was a machine for drinks and snacks, that was in the reception area and was locked most times we returned to the hotel.
The location of the hotel is fantastic, right at the S Bahn station, so it was very easy to travel everywhere we wanted to go. The rooms very perfectly adequate for what we wanted and needed. Rooms were nice and quiet, too, considering the location.

There is no airconditioning and with the windows open it was to noisy because of the trains. 2 room keys would have been useful. There was no cleaning service. We had to empty our trays outside at the taxi stop.

GermanyThe proximity of the room to the loud S-Bahn Station. No breakfast available. (There is a Bakery nearby though) The reception staff were confused by my booking. It took a long time to check in. No secure bike storage. But we were allowed to take them to the room. The rooms are ok but need modernisation. No refrigerator in the rooms. There is a communal one.

GermanyIt is tricky, as after 7pm, there isn’t any reception, which can be a bit complicated and when we wanted to checkout, there wasn’t anyone at the reception and we had to leave the room key at the Reception desk, which the reception didn’t find it initially and found it in the evening after contacting us. Neighbours were talking on phone in the floor at mid night and didn’t stop even after requesting them for three times. The reception was closed, so we couldn’t even complain to someone there. Rest it was overall a clean hotel.
it is just around the Train Station and at the door step there are cafés and Restaurants. I haven’t seen such big rooms and big Toilets in a Hotel. Everything was super clean

GermanyRoom/Entire corridor of rooms smelled of old stale smoke. What made sleeping not easy is that construction work took place at the station, but that is not something the hotel has any power over.
Location and bed were very comfortable. Early Check-in was possible and straight-forward. Perfectly located between Potsdam and Berlin, so that we spent the day at Sanssouci Palace and in the evening attended our concert at the Mercedes Benz Arena by East Side Gallery in the evening.
