We thought the food for our evening meal was excellent. We loved the view from our room. It was our anniversary and thought the wine waiting for us in our room was a kind gesture we did not expect.

I left the room three times to wait for the room to be cleaned by the maid. Returned at 10 am, not done . Left Again yo have lunch, back at 1 pm. Room not done . Left again yo lobby, back at 3 pm, room still not done, said they are short handed. I said never mind, let’s skip it for today. Can’t go out and return any more , I wanted to use my room. Too bad!

The parking was not gratis (25euros per day) The kitchen close at 22:30 and at 22:31 they are not able to bring desserts even if you are already eating. You have to pay 50 per day per room for a "garantie" that is not explain at all (no one in the reception was able to explan that garantie)

We loved everything about our stay here. We spent time by the pool, relaxing after our long journey. I had the best massage of my life the next evening. We loved that you can get complementary coffee in the morning without having to buy breakfast. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Our bed was comfortable, the room was quiet. It honestly didn't feel like a 4-star stay, more like a 5-star stay. Suffice to say, we're planning our next trip here

I do not like it at all. Very high price for this particular hotel. Far from the center. You need a car to get around, there is nothing to do nearby, you can't enjoy the view of the lake since access is prohibited after 10:00pm and you can't even have a drink by the lake and enjoy your cigarette, the gardens of the hotel are unkempt, the rooms smell of dogs since we are talking about a "dog friendly" hotel and the corridors smell of dog pee! Finally, although the hotel has parking, it even charges its customers €25 per day extra! A hotel that needs immediate renovation. Very old furnitures and the smell is bad. Carpets throughout. Staff very abrupt and rude except of 1-2 people at the reception. Something you should also mention in booking.com is that the hotel blocks 50€ for each night for each room as a guarantee.

Water temperature in the shower fluctuated suddenly from hot to cold. Light switch broken. Room needs updating as old and worn. Having said that bed was very comfortable.

When we came at ten minutes to three (check in was at three) our room was not ready, we were told to wait at the bar for 20 minutes while the got the room ready. No problem, we sat at the bar but 40 minutes later the room was not ready and an hour later we were told that the previous guest had a late check out and hadn't left until half past three. Apparently Marriotts policy is that members can have late checkouts and the staff just had to "figure something out". Only when we told them we had plan to meet people for dinner an hour from then were we offered another room in the meantime to shower and change. Once we got our room, an hour and 15 minuted late, the bed for our kid had not been made. If the staff had just told us there would be an hour and a half wait we could have left our luggage and gone out to explore the city but they were happy to have us wait in the restaurant with all of our stuff for an hour and a half, always telling us it would just be ten more minutes. All they did to make up for this was a small bag of gummy bears and a box of mixed nuts. Never going back to a Marriot hotel.

Where to begin. The hotel is old and it shows. The AC barely gets the job done. We had to have a fan sent to the room. Between the AC noise and the fan noise, it was tough to sleep. The bath/shower was fun. Always seemed like your were going to fall getting in and out. It was a high sep in and out. The breakfast buffet was pleasing to look at but it was VERY EXPENSIVE! 24 euro for American breakfast. It was the same breakfast we had at our previous hotel. It was 13euro. Continental breakfast - bread, butter, jelly and coffee - 17euro. I was hoping for a better walkability but there wasn't much close by.

I liked that it was located on the Neckar River. Also, we got lucky with parking. The system wasn't working so we didn't have to pay.

The hotel went over our expectations and was extremely lovely place to visit. There were certain special requests which were handed professionally, with feeling and passion. I have never felt as well treated yet as what Hotel Marriot and the staff made me and my loved feel. Thank you again, we will be visitin in the future again!

1.When you arrive the hotel, Receptionist want you to pay 150 € deposit in case you buy something and do not pay it. THIS SHOWS THEY DO NOT TRUST THEIR CUSTOMERS. THİS İS NOT COOL! 2.Housekeeping staff doesn't knock on the door before entering the room. 3.Hotel is old and everything needs to be renewed. İt does not worth the money you pay. In addition guess supplies such as slippers, shoe sponge, cotton pad, etc. are not provide by the hotel.

The price and the fact you, Booking.com,let us down. The hotel charge for car parking which you did not indicate in your advert. You did not indicate that there was a deal, If we booked car parking the breakfast would be a lot cheaper than €24. You also mentioned that the breakfast was cheaper at €21 and failed to mention that there was a continental option or anything like that. You have failed us completely. Room 163 had a nasty stain on the floor as you walked in the door. I would hate to think what that was!
