The room is not ensuite and thus my old family member has to go outside the room for toilet frequently at night. Then, he has to lock our room again after coming back.

The rooms are spacious and clean while the WIFI is stable.

Not to happy about the bathroom situation with basically two out of the two toilet seats broken. There was no night light or anything you can switch on from the bed at night. My room smelled like smoke Certainly also not too impressed by the welcoming of the host who just run up the stairs infront of me without even proper greeting me. There was no interest in explaining me the local facilities or anything, just a quick question for payment. Overall too expensive for the experience.

Make it clear that it is not really a "hotel" in the classic sense. It would save in communcations.

There was a mix up with this booking. We went to the location expecting a hotel with a normal reception/check-in desk. I would say this is more like an AirBnB. They sent us instructions on how to get in with a message, but we had no access to the internet and couldn't read it. So, we ended up not being able to stay there. I will say that Jasmine was very understanding and worked this through appropriately, not charging for the night we couldn't get in. So it appears they do things with integrity and very right for their bookings.

The property is old with no lift. The addition of a snacks and drinks machine would have added some convenience. It is basic boarding house and for that, it was fine.

This is a basic boarding house in a very sought-after area on Lindau island. The staff member I met was friendly and helpful. The room was small but adequate for my one-night stay.

There was nothing to like

We did not expect to share bathroom with strangers. 4th floor no lift with our baggage that was no joke. When we asked owner if we can cancel he said yes but you will still pay the full price. Not happy at all.

No reception.It wasn’t clear which way to turn to, in case you needed help or advice. In the end I used the door bell by the entrance. Room was always dark as shades were all broken but down, so no daylight in room Strong kitchen smell and noise from Vietnamese restaurant kitchen next door which made it difficult opening windows (to air and get some daylight in, as shades were always down) No view at all from windows, as surrounded tightly by walls of neighbouring houses Owner’s teenage / young adult son lives permanently in rooms next door and often had his several buddies over (see photos) , hence it was quite loud (as they were fooling around, gaming and smoking) and created an unpleasant invasive atmosphere, especially for lone female travellers. As soon as you stepped out of your room, the corridor was reeking strongly like sleep, old socks and unaired boys flat share if you know what I mean. An unpleasant arrangement for both sides.. Suggestions: Basic hotel things such as a little night lamp, tea /coffee and hairdryer in room would be greatly appreciated and creates instantly a homier feeling. A little note in the room with basic information of how to contact someone of the hotel (as there is no reception), a town map and some general information would be really helpful and leaves you less isolated.

- The place is located very centrally on the island of Lindau which is why I chose it. I came for house hunting, as our family wants to move to Lindau, so this was a great location for me as it was so central and the price was great, too. My room was on the ground / upper ground floor on the left. -Spotlessly clean! ***** - Free upgrade at arrival to a bigger room with private bathroom (I had booked a single room with shared bathroom which was not available), so I really appreciated that. It was nice having my own bathroom. -On request (when checking in) I was kindly brought a kettle by the owner to be able to prepare my own tea / coffee which I was able to keep for the length of my stay (6 nights) which was nice.

It was located just beside the lake. There was a parking garage just opposite. Coffee and tea were provided. It’s a typical German apartment. We enjoyed sharing with our children how we used to lived in a house like this.

We were a group of 8 friends and had a great time. The host was very nice and supportive. The rooms were beautiful, cosy, clean and very well kept. The location of the hotel is also very central. Luggage storage is also available. 10 on 10.
