Very good location, close to the highway. Very big room. Very clean also. Nice bathroom. A standout feature of our experience was the personal touch of the owner, evident in every aspect of our stay. Their dedication to guest satisfaction was palpable, making us feel truly valued throughout our visit. And for those traveling in electric vehicles, the presence of an EV charger in the underground garage was a welcomed convenience. We had the peace of mind knowing that our vehicle was being charged overnight, ready for our continued journey the next day. You need to book it when you reserve the room

We had a delightful stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and impeccably clean, providing a warm haven on a cold winter night. The bed was spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately the bed was made with two duvets as it common in German hotels and it may be a problem for those who prefer a single duvet for added comfort. The place is close to city center, with its charming bars and restaurants (closing around 11). For those arriving late, a lobby vending machine stocked with beer and snacks proved to be a thoughtful solution. For welcoming bottle of water in the room kudos to the owners. The 24/7 self-check-in and private underground parking added convenience. The staff was not only nice but also incredibly helpful, enhancing the overall positive experience.

So comfortable and welcoming. So organised as when we arrived our room card was waiting in an envelope. Lovely homely touches throughout and felt at home. Loved Bordeaux the wee dog, and the owner was cool as we admired her Porsche tractor and her motorcycle. Great secure garage for our motorcycles

With windows open, could hear rumble of traffic - but it is not obtrusive.

Although a self check-in (so no staff in afternoon or evening), I was pleasantly surprised by the quality furnishings, cleanliness and general efficiency. The check-in worked first time, there is a free garage, and it is only 7 minutes walk to the attractive town centre with a range of interesting architecture and restaurants. For the price highly recommended. Address is a little difficult to find as Booking.com only gives the street address - they should give the name as seen from the road.

slight confusion whether room was booked or not but this was not the owners fault and was handled very professionally and friendly .

bit of confusion when we first arrived but the lady owner quickly arrived and checked us in and was really nice and friendly . room spotless and a short walk from the hotel into the centre of charming esslingen . we were able to keep our motorbike in the hotels garage / the lady had a bike herself ) . all in all a fabulous place to stay and esslingen really nice also

The owners were very nice, i has a problem at 1 AM, called them and they solve quickly in a nice way, in the morning they are smiling and found my credit card that i leaved for a mistake, excellent in all senses

No fridge. We prefer no carpet on the floor (allergy related).

After a long trip we were happy to see the comfortable bed. The hotel is near the street but no noise. The man who welcomed us at the breakfast was very friendly and the breakfast itself was also delicious. Underground garage to park the car. Price quality good.

Spaceous and cosy rooms in a location 5 munites walk from the old city, but the real story is the owner, who gladly helped us with everything we needed - from information about traveling around Algau, restaurants in the city and even comupter cable we needed. We recommend this place warmly.

Very well appointed though a relatively small hotel. Rooms spacious and real qualilty and taste has gone in to how they are furnished. A pleasure to have stayed here and a lovely breakfast too. Thorougly recomended when visiting the beautiful town of Wangen. Will be back!

I checked in at 01:00 in the night and it had 6 degree outside. Two windows were wide open and it was very cold in the room. Staff knew about the check-in time. I got a bad cold now, thank you!
