There is a wine vending machine outside, which is a novelty and something we dont see in England, but it didnt take cash or our credit cards and we couldn't get it to work, which was a little annoying. Other than that tiny aspect, nothing to complain about at all.

We stayed here last year so we knew what to expect, its a very good little hotel with exceptional rooms, the bathrooms are really exceptional. Nice staff and the whole wine vibe made it feel a bit special. The town is small but there's enough interesting things to see for a half a day if youre passing through. We didnt try the restaurant but the the food looked pretty good and if breakfast was anything to go by, it should be. There is a small family run Italian restaurant a short walk away opposite the Edeka supermarket, which is very good value and recommended, we've eaten there twice now. Will definitely stay here again on our journey through Germany next summer.

Quiet village location yet only a few minutes from the motorway. Idea stop for an overnight to/from the ferry. Beautiful hotel & restaurant on the edge of the small town surrounded by vineyards.

The romantic and quiet garden, the nicely furnished dining room, the spacious, clean and well furnished room. The kindness of the staff, who answered fast to our queries and had a prompt solution to our late arrival. Nice breakfast included.

This was an excellent stopover en route to Italy. Just 5 mins drive from the autobahn, but in a peaceful location. All we could hear was bird song! A great welcome, an excellent dinner and extensive breakfast. The room was huge with a very comfortable bed & powerful shower. We will try to book again next time we do this journey

Good location not far from main streets with friendly staff and nice spacious rooms. Everything was clean, and the spa area was also great. We were able to bring our dog and were made to feel very welcome. Also very nice included breakfast.

This is an absolutely a fantastic place to stay. The guesthouse is spectacularly clean, modern, and tastefully decorated. The room we stay was roomy and comfortable. The restaurant was simply superb. We definitely would return when we go back that way!

Very little to dislike although perhaps upon reflection and as a personal choice I had not realised the restaurant’s main focus was a selection of steaks and burgers neither of which i usually opt for. Saying that they did offer a very good salad as a main meal with the options of adding strips of meat which proved to be very good along with a good dressing. This was an oversight on my part and not a complaint.

This was an area that I was not familiar with however it is situated so conveniently for the autobahn both north and south it was a good choice and one that I would be happy to use again. Upon checking in, the member of staff was very helpful and even offered the use of their sauna should I want to recover from my long day. I had a double room with plenty of room for one, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom large with plenty of hot water both late afternoon and early morning. I took dinner in the restaurant and enjoyed recommendations from a member of staff who allowed me to have small quantities of differing wines - an excellent idea. I slept well and at breakfast was served a prepared selection of cold meats cheese and fruits with a choice of good rolls and sliced bread along with scrambled eggs. One of the bonuses as with other winery’s is the option to buy bottles that they produce either to take home or drink in your room. This proved top be a good stop for me and I would use it again without doubt

Good location within the village within easy walking distance of the supermarket and pizzeria. It was great for our stop over en route to Austria as it's only about 4k from the A61 motorway. The room was very big and comfortable. Great breakfast and staff. There is an on site Steakhouse but you would be advised to book in advance as it is popular with locals as well as guests.

No elevator but only because my wife has a hard time with stairs, but this is not a big deal

Oh my!!! Amazing place, such a nice setting. Good size room and in my honest opinion, I would go here just to experience the shower again with its different settings and powerful pressure. Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was awesome with good selection and very tasty items. I would also suggest planning on eating at their steakhouse restaurant on site, we had already eaten before we arrived, so didn’t get to experience the evening food, but from what we could see and smell, it also looked amazing
