Receptionist was very good and helpful. eating facilities close by so very good. and easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. Breakfast was adequate.

The room was incredibly hot. No fan or aircon. Kept windows open, but due to being directly across from the station we had a lot of noise, especially from the station announcer all night long. One of the windows was dodgy so we kept it closed.

Right across from the station, so easy to get to with bags. Several restaurants nearby. Beds were comfortable. Large room. View of the castle above the station. Breakfast was great, with lots of choice.

Breakfast was basic, the decor is somewhat outdated.

The room was clean, beds were comfortable. We were across from the train station, so very convenient since we were travelling by train. The room was larger than expected, spacious enough for an adult and two older teens. There are plenty of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. It was a 10 minute walk to the Altstadt, or 3-5 minutes by bus.

No conditioner in the room. In August it was rather hot so I couldn't sleep well. The breakfast was rather average.

Just next to the train station. A very quiet place nevertheless. Very pleasant staff member at the reception.

The location was amazing. Right near the train station, and not far from the Aldstadt. A short walk to the river. The staff were lovely.

The mattress on the bed they had for the third person was not comfortable.

The room and bathroom were nothing special but adequate. Not bad. The location was wonderful. Right across the street from the train station. There is a little bar right outside the hotel and we had a jolly time there.

Lack of facilities in bathroom, no plug why have a bath when you can’t use it! No bedside lamps which can be useful.

The person giving you the key saying your room number out loud. The bathrooms are old and look dirty. It is very loud outside because of a lot of homeless and addicts at the main station. You can only open the windows all the way or have them closed. The pathways around the hotel are all cobblestones so not easy to bring them language from the station to the hotel.

The Staff was Every helpful and nice. I get an double bedroom even so I booked a small single bedroom. The breakfast was great for the price. There is an aldi around the corner.

No tea-making facilities in the room - but staff went out of their way to resolve this issue (see above).

Great location for train travellers. Close to shops, eateries and bars. The hotel itself was a bit bland, but perfectly clean and comfortable. Good sized room and new bathroom. The best thing about this hotel were the staff - went out of their way to be helpful, and very friendly. There were no tea-making facilities in the bedroom, but the staff made sure we had access to the breakfast area and made sure we could get hot water, at any time of the day. Also provided teabags and sugar.

Very old hotel. The plumbing is old and barely holding up. There is mold and evidence of the guests' history everywhere. Bad WiFi. Rooms are smoky.

No WiFi at the time due to tech problems.Not staffs fault and we booked knowing this. Breakfast definitely not aimed at vegans like me .

The hotel is really in need of urgent modernisation: doors, walls and bathroom (eg toilet didn't flush well, took a long time for the shower water to get hot, etc) all show serious signs of wear and tear. Cleaning of the rooms could be done more thorough. Whereas one doesn't hear much from the train station, unfortunately the internal isolation is much worse. I would also recommend that the hotel uses some sort of tickets in order to collect your luggage (now you can just walk in and take your luggage). All in all, I think there are better options price/quality wise.

Staff is friendly. The breakfast is very decent. Location is perfect for those in need of something close to the station (no noise issues from the trains)

MIssing things like temperature control. Room layout was strange, very long and not a lot of surfaces to use, and not a lot of convenient plug sockets for charging devices
