No kettle, no tea bags hot Water through coffee machine there are a lot of people who cannot drink coffee. Hot water through machine only gives coffee water. No fridge in room.....come on its 2024!!!

-It's supposed to be 24/7 reception but after 6pm on Friday I couldn't find anyone. I tried finding someone on two occasions and waited around, but was unsuccessful. There's no reception bell, and calling loudly was a bit awkward (still, no one came). Maybe calling their reception phone is the solution? -The room was cleaned, but vacuuming had been rushed. There was a lot of dust and hairs from other guests around the bed and in the bathroom...

This hotel is clearly a bit older, which you can see on places where furniture and paint has worn or chipped off. Everything is fully functional, though! The place has been kept in a very good state. It may be small (you might struggle with laying a big suitcase out flat) but space has been used efficiently. The single bed was huge. There's a coffee maker and tea bags. You can get a thermos of hot water at the reception. The vending machine in the lobby has very acceptable prices if you need a snack or other (alcoholic) beverage, and there's a supermarket right across the road. The city centre is 10 min away on foot, the tramp stop next door. It takes 1 change and about 20 minutes to reach Düsseldorf central station. Being near the stadium and next to a road may cause some noise, but the windows keep everything out. You can also get ear plugs at the reception.

At 18 euro the breakfast should have been exceptional. My colleagues told me that was not the case so I had breakfast elsewhere.

Everything was nice.

Nice hotel located in quite area of Ratingen, but there is a bus stop in 2 min walk distance, you can easily go to Dusseldorf airport from about 15-20 min. Good, but a bit small room for 1 person stay, very clean, with a good matress. Really great breakfast, would highly recommend to enjoy it.

Lacking a space to sit when not in the room, where can read some mails on a laptop. Would be nice if part of breakfast area is open for public during none breakfast time.

1/ i saw 3 staffs in 2 days but none of them smiled; 2/ we did not ask for wake-up service, but every morning at 9 am the cleaning staffs will knock the doors which is very annoying.

Room 311 looks like a new wardrobe has been installed but the wall were the old one previously was is bare and hadn’t been painted, grey Vs cream very odd, plus there is a leak above the door causing rusting to speaker system.

The size of the room was small. The garage of the hotel was very small and not recommended for big cars, as the space is reduced to turn in case you don't find a spot. Also not many parking options on the surroundings of the hotel.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Beds comfortable. Hotel close to the airport and with good check in and out options for people having to take an early flight.
