Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

GermanyThe building and the furniture show their ages Cleaning personnel tried to get in to clean the room without checking whether we were in or not. Luckily I was quick enough to stop the person. The windows didn't have curtains for daylight but they had curtains for night. That's why we couldn't open the curtains at the day lights

EstoniaStaff worked only until 23. We need change some details after, but there was nobody. Location is not good - far away from airport and train, taxi cost is about 17€ - only possibility to catch flight early morning.
I found extra comfort mattress. Changeble room temperature. Extra clean. Room was small, but enought for one night stay. Breakfast surprised - in first moment there was nothing to take, but a bit check and there was good choice for everyone - boiled eggs, different sandwitches, yoghurt, fruit and good coffee. Staff was helpful.

United KingdomThe guy on reception could have been a little more friendly and helpful. We probably would have had a warmer welcome using the automatic booking-in system! A little information about the trams running just outside the property would have been helpful, even if that was just a map and pricing.
Good sized room, with comfortable bed, nice and quiet so we slept well. Everything was really clean. The hotel and car park were really easy to find. Plenty of parking and we could keep an eye on our car, as it was parked right outside our window. (I would imagine the parking would be more difficult if there was an event being held at the arena next door). Breakfast was all laid out ready when we went down, and it was really very nice. Lots of choice, including the usual things like rolls, cheese, meat and yogurt, but with extras like fresh fruit, toast and mini muffins. Everything was very tasty and the coffee was great. Great location for the tram into town, literally a one minute walk to the tram stop (we could see this from our room). The tram took about 20-25 minutes to get us into the town centre and it didn't cost that much (cheaper than a car park). We would stay here again.
