Since the hotel is 10 or so minutes from the town centre, the lack of ability to have a hot drink tea or coffee upon arrival or in the evening is disappointing. The early start with workmen on site 7.30 am on the same corridor was also a little surprising.

Room was clean. The breakfast was very good. Plenty of choice. Pity the drinks facilities can't be offered to guests outside breakfast time. Parking on site.

The door to the bathroom is made of glass and the toilet seat is directly across from it, visible to anyone passing the corridor! In a room for 4 people! Whoever designed this should burn in hell. Also half of the window curtains did not move up or down. The shower gel was provided in sealed packets that are very hard to open with wet hands. Finally, the breakfast selection was disappointing, one of our kids could not find anything to their liking. For the price I expected much better.

The view from the balcony overlooking the Alps was breathtaking.

misswd the info that hotel restaurant is only open for breakfast. i heard many good things about the restaurant, but unfortunatelly was closed.

1. staff extremely rude - owner assured flexibility of number of persons, and we called to confirm our choice a day in send ne - but still misunderstanding made their wrong preparation of room. had been ok for us , but he was angry and , he called us “stupid” and other and had it not been for having prepaid , we had left. 2. bad breakfast with old products , orange juice not drinkable - next day no juice at all , bread dry , empty egg baskets etc 3. very stink of cigarette smoke in Lobby and corridors , as owner is smoker.

The room was cleaned on a daily basis, the staff helped me in every matter and the breakfast was exceptional. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip to Oberammergau.

The room was big, clean and quiet. Very comfortable bed, nice bathroom. The breakfast is standard and offers different options for everyone. Very welcoming and responsive personnel. Beautiful view to the mountains and a small creek behind. Just a few minutes walk along the creek to the downtown. Will stay there again if have the chance!

there’s nothing to dislike. only thing that has changed is the kitchen is closed in the evening so they no longer do the schnitzel night. I hope they can reintroduce this.

Definitely the choice to the stay in this hotel was the best decision. The personal was very polite and friendly, ready to answer of my questions. The room, facilities and the parking were very comfortable, oriented and adjusted to deliver max please to the customers. Fantastic breakfast. The last but not least is the great view from windows and the location of this place!
